Sunday, April 2, 2000 I preached a message in my home church here in Sacramento, that even shocked myself, as the Holy Spirit spoke through me. I have been preaching the Gospel since April 16, 1967, when I was licensed to preach in my home church, Central Baptist Church, Salt Lake City, Utah (Southern Baptist). At this time, I was looking forward to a time as an evangelist, traveling from church to church and preaching salvation through Jesus Christ. But God had additional plans for me when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in the 1970's and thrust into a Full Gospel ministry, as recorded in the book of The Acts of The Apostles.

CASTING OUT DEMONS
Living on the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary campus between 1969-1974, for the first time, my wife and I encountered people who were severely oppressed by demons. One of our best friends, who worked in administration of the seminary, became totally despondent one day and locked himself in his house, threatening to commit suicide. God used me to cast out the demons from this man and he was totally healed. Needless to say, the seminary leadership was not very happy over this, despite that one of their own staff workers had been totally healed from what they thought was a "mental break down." Since the seminary leadership totally rejected the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they also had to reject the thought of Christians being oppressed by demons. As far as I understood, the seminary leadership would rather have sent their staff worker to a mental hospital where he could have been drugged and then managed. (Luke 13:10-17)

I did not particularly enjoy casting out demons, but since Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:17-21) and very few preachers knew anything about it, God began to use my wife and me in this kind of ministry, in addition to preaching salvation. Then the Lord expanded our ministry to also pray for the sick, and we saw many wonderful healings.

What I am trying to tell you is this, instead of being a "normal minister" and just doing what everyone else was doing, God used me in breaking new ground (really going back to the early church as recorded in the book of Acts), and I found myself isolated and much criticized by organized clergy.

EXPOSING THE FREEMASONS
Then came the next marching order from God. "Expose the occult, which has moved into the churches." If I had problems before, this went over like a "lead balloon." As I began to expose the Satanic teaching of Freemasonry, and pointed out that BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS could not hold membership in Free Masonic lodges, I could not believe the wrath coming against me from pastors, elders and deacons who were deeply entrenched in the Satanic clutches of these secret societies. Not only was I preaching and exposing the Freemasons in the United States, but also in Sweden and Finland. The momentum against the Masons gained nationwide attention in Sweden, and the counterattack came very fast. The most well known poet in Sweden, Bo Setterlind, himself a very high Freemason, wrote a book in defense of the Masons, called THE CASE OF FREEMASONRY, published in 1985. In this book, Mr. Setterlind attacked me violently and wrote me off as a "sulfur hell preaching pastor" who did not know any true facts about the Masons.

EXPOSING THE WORLD GOVERNMENT
In the early 1970's, I was teaching about the coming Antichrist and his system, but I could not figure out how this related to the time in which I was living. I was flabbergasted over the war in Vietnam. How could it be, that American soldiers were fighting the communists in Vietnam and taking heavy losses, while England and France were shipping weapons and supplies to the Communists? Why did the U.S. Government not order the British and the French to stop? After all, they where supposed to be allies? While fighting the commies in Vietnam and boycotting Cuba, the United States sold military hardware to the Soviets and the Chinese. It just did not make sense to me.

Then, when my wife and I were on an evangelistic tour in Idaho, in 1975, I received a total shock to my system. We were staying in the home of a Christian family and they asked me if I had ever heard of the Illuminati? I told them I was totally ignorant on the subject. They then gave me some three hours of audio recordings by Myron Fagon, who had done research on the subject and shared his findings. Here was the missing link. Now I knew that a World Government existed and was forcing the nations to act against their own national interests. For the next four years I was busy researching the subject, and the search led me to the Talmud, then to the Cabala, then to the World Jewish Congress.

It took me several years to come to grips with all this new information about a world which I had never known existed. Then the truth hit me hard, the antichrist system to be was already here, but not yet in full power. And it was a Jewish system, built upon the Zionist movement and modern Israel. In order to validate my research, it had to be validated from Jewish sources. We joined a number of Jewish organizations in order to receive their material and to know what they were planning and doing. We subscribed to a number of very prestigious Jewish publications (we were able to get on the mailing lists for Jewish books) which gentiles never see or hear about.

I was able to verify every point in my research, but how would I release this information and who would believe me? All of us know that the moment Gentiles begin to discuss the Jewish people, the nation of Israel and what the Jews are doing, the ax is going to fall. The cry would be, John Torell is anti-Semitic. Even if I showed my Jewish sources, people would become hysterical, not looking at the facts, and cry "neo-Nazi."

When I went to prayer on the subject, the Holy Spirit showed me that I was to write on the subject, and back up all my writings with Scripture references and list all my sources. Being obedient to God, the first book was written, "THE RISE OF ANTICHRIST- PART ONE. " A good pastor friend of mine wrote some chapters in the book, but he was too frightened to have his name used, so we did not put his name on the book.

This book was printed in 1981 and sold out quickly. We could not keep it in stock. At the same time, I set out to translate this book into Swedish, and the Swedish version was printed in 1982. In this version I had put in all my research and the book was thick, around 200 pages. Thousands of them were printed, shipped via boat to Sweden, and sold during our revival meetings in 1982 throughout Sweden and Finland. The firestorm it created took us completely by surprise. The Israeli intelligence service, the MOSSAD, swung into action, and between 1983 to1985 all pastors and people working with us in the Scandinavian countries were contacted and threatened with being taken to court for anti-Semitism. Others were told that if they did not stop working with John Torell, they would be killed. Our work in the Scandinavian countries came to a halt. Some people became so terrified, they died; others told me in private that they knew I stood for truth, but they could not sacrifice their families, so they caved in and lied.

When the Swedish prime minister, Olof Palme, was shot to death on a street in Stockholm, Sweden in 1986, the Swedish Intelligence Service, "SAPO" swung into action and accused me of master minding this murder. The Swedish Government requested from the American Government that the FBI work with SAPO and investigate me. The result was several visits by FBI agents and a SAPO agent, in which they asked me questions. Since I had nothing to do with this murder, (I was not even in Sweden when it happened) it all came to nothing. But, I was warned that if I would ever again come to Sweden, there would be an arrest. The Swedish law is different from the law in the USA. In Sweden a person can be held for up to one year as a suspect without trial. Needless to say, I have not been back to Sweden since 1982.

In the meantime we have been publishing our magazine, The Dove, and much information has been released.

WE HAVE NOW ENTERED THE TIME OF SORROWS
On April 2, 2000 I spoke these words to the congregation of Resurrection Life of Jesus Church in Sacramento. I realized that God is putting me out in the very forefront to again blaze a prophetic trail. This is not something that I have looked forward to, but the message from God came in loud and clear, THE TIME OF SORROWS HAS COME AND WE CANNOT STOP IT. What is the time of sorrows? Let us turn to the words of Jesus Himself, in order to get a proper understanding. This is the period preceding the "GREAT TRIBULATION." I do not know when the time of sorrows began, nor do I know how long it will last. But the way of living has changed on the earth and we are never again going back to the "good old days." Here is how Jesus described this period of time:

And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pas, bu the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom : and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. ALL THESE ARE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound (lawlessness shall increase) the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:4-12

THE SIGNS ARE ALL AROUND US
The divorce rate in the United States has now reached the 65% level. A majority of the men in America today are hooked on pornography. Homosexuality is openly protected by the laws of the land, and there are many homosexual couples who have adopted children into their perverse life style. Rape, child abuse, drug abuse etc. are common in all regions of the United States. Men are beating and hurting their wives, more and more shootings take place in domestic violence. Violent murder with sexual torture and mutilation is becoming common in all States, and mass killings in schools and work places are now common. The World Government is using the Hollywood producers to not only make sexual perverted movies, but so-called "snuff movies" in which the victims are raped, sodomized, tortured and then murdered , all captured by the camera to the last breath of the dying victim. If a video or movie is guaranteed that the victim really died, it brings a premium price. Pedophiles pay top dollar to see children being molested and murdered.

Then there are the "smash videos," where animals are being tortured and finally crushed to death, particularly small animals like rabbits, cats and birds. Perverted people pay top dollar to see these torture scenes in color and hear the screams of the victims and then see them die a horrible painful death.

More and more men and women are no longer satisfied just to view this on the screen, they have to act it out in real life. Every week there are women and children murdered in the most brutal sexual rituals, and when the murderers are caught, they do not look like monsters, instead they look like ordinary people.

Drugs are washing over the nations like waves of the ocean. More and more people in the mainstream are becoming drug addicts.

The politicians cry out for more gun control, others call for more prisons to be built, most pastors do not say a whole lot, they are busy building up their business enterprises, and the few that call for a going back to God and biblical morals are ridiculed.

The American people at large have no biblical moral standard. Whatever the media says goes, and whatever the TV and movie producers make will be considered the standard of society.

RAPE, TORTURE, MUTILATION AND MASS MURDERS
All the ingredients of the Hollywood filth have been carried out in large scale in the following nations since 1990: Indonesia, East Timor, the Phillippines, Burma, Congo, Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, Chechnya and a number of other nations. Reading the testimonies from the World Court in the Netherlands, wherein men, women and children are testifying to the brutality they have experienced, will make any descent person sick to his soul. Hearing the testimonies of Chinese Christians who suffered immensely during the uprising in Indonesia and especially in East Timor made me cry. The human race is the worst when it comes to cruelty. Animals kill because they are hungry and they only kill what they are going to eat. They do not torture their victims. Just like the blood of Abel was crying from the soil, so the blood from all the mass graves are crying out to God. Judgment is coming. (Genesis 4:8-12)

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH (Matthew 24:32-39)
At the time of Noah, evil spirits would have sexual intercourse with women, and they produced a half human/half demon race. There was no redemption for these beings. Today we hear about cloning. What we have not understood is that cloning has been going on for some 50 years and is much more advanced than what we are told. Demons once again have been working through the UFO programs to produce a human/demon race, where these humanoids have no soul, cannot respond to the Gospel and are only evil continually. See a description in Genesis 6:1-5.

I believe that a number of political leaders in the world today are humanoids, with no soul. Have we ever seen a more wicked president then Bill Clinton? He has no morals, no shame and no understanding of what is right and wrong. I believe that some of the leading "so-called" Christian TV evangelists are humanoids, forerunners to the Antichrist and the false prophet. (Revelation chapter 13).

REVIVAL OR HELL FOR THE UNBELIEVERS?
This was the title of the message I preached on April 2 (RLJ-710). I will include the outline of this message with this newsletter. I spoke for about 90 minutes, not only laying out the evil of today, but also what we as believers in Christ must do if we are to be able to enlarge the Kingdom of God in these evil days. I wish that I could send you a copy of the audio cassette with this letter, but our finances are not strong enough for that. However, I do urge all of you reading this letter to order a copy of this message. Before you write me off as "too far out," order the cassette, pray over it and ask God for wisdom.

JANE FONDA HAS FOUND CHRIST
Some time ago a person told me this. I dismissed it as another bad rumor, circulating in the Christian community. But a few days ago I received a newsletter from a good Christian brother in Canada, Jarl Omholt-Jensen. Jarl had researched this subject, listing his sources and to my amazement, the story is true, Jane Fonda has embraced Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour. This is very good news in a world as dark as we are living in now. If God can reach in and save this woman, who has lived a very wicked life, then all things are possible.

WE ARE HERE FOR A PURPOSE
Despite all the bad news I am not depressed. Those who have read the Bible know that God has told us that before Jesus comes back, things are going to get worse. And God has prepared you and me to live at this time so that we can be His witnesses to a dying world. When God designed us, He gave us extra strength and wisdom, so that instead of being pushed around, we would be able to stand out like the apostles who spread the message of Jesus Christ into a hostile Roman Empire. So let us praise the Lord, thanking Him that He has given us the honor to be part of the closing of the church age, before the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ, shall return.
