PASTORS OUTLINE

EGYPT HAS TO GO!

July 26,1996

God brought some 3 million people out of Egypt. But they did not know God -Exodus 18:1-3; neither were they interested in knowing Him. Exodus 32:1-9

As far as the people of Israel were concerned, they were not looking for a RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, THEY WERE ONLY INTERESTED IN GOD AS A PROVIDER!

Their priorities were:
1. Security
2. Ample Food Supplies
3. Water
4. Family
5. General Prosperity (Numbers
14:1-4)

Toward the end of his fife, king David had learned, that GOD IS NOT IMPRESSED By MAN’S EFFORTS AND PROJECTS, GOD IS LOOKING FOR AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP! Psalm 139: 1-23

King David was not allowed to build the temple: I Chronicles 28: 2-3

David understood this and did not resist God, but embraced God
- verses 4-7

Then David told his son and the leaders of Israel that the RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD was more important, than the temple itself! Verses 8-9

God tells Jeremiah how wicked man is, Jer.17: 9-10, and that God is searching the heart. Jonah had a relationship with God, but when God demanded obedience, Jonah chose to run and break the fellowship: Jonah 1:1-3

Jonah found out that you can never outrun God: verses 4-17 It was in the belly of the fish that Jonah repented Jonah
2:1-10

Jesus clearly has outlined, that he wants a close relationship: John 15:1-17 Without this relationship there will be no fruit!

The risen Christ has spoken what kind of relationship that he is demanding: Rev. 2:18-21

God has a fish waiting for every rebellious child: verses 22-23

Do you have an ear so that you can hear? EGYPT HAS TO GO! Verses 24-29

TODAY IS THE DAY TO GET EGYPT OUT OF YOU FOR GOOD! Hebrews 3:15-19

Are you going to chose the fish OR ARE YOU GOING TO REPENT? The choice is yours!
