Very few Christians have heard of Chrislam and don't know what it means. Chrislam began in the city of Lagos, the biggest city and sea port in Nigeria, with a population of more than seven million. The author of this unholy union of Islam and Christianity was a man by the name of Tela Tella, who started his religion in the 1980’s. There are several names for this religion: The True Message of God Mission, The Will of God Mission, Ifeoluwa Mission and Oke-Tude. Like so many other false religions, Tella claims that an angel of God told him to create this mixed religion that would bring peace between Muslims and Christians. But Tella has competition from another Nigerian man, Samson Saka, who claims the title “prophet” and went on a pilgrimage to Mecca. In 1999, he founded his religion by mixing Islam and Christianity in the hope that it would create peace in the world. Tella claims that Saka stole the idea of Chrislam from him. Saka is militant and wants to conquer the world in the name of Chrislam while Tella is waiting for the world to come to him and accept his version of this mixed religion.

The world tended to dismiss Mohammad in the 7^th century, and people scoffed at Joseph Smith and Charles Taze Russell. But in 2011, more than a billion people follow the dead prophet Mohammad, close to 20 million Mormons swear by Joseph Smith and wherever you travel in the earth today you find Jehovah’s Witnesses.

DON’T LAUGH AT THIS LATEST RELIGION 

To simplify the doctrine of Chrislam, we can say that the Bible and the Koran are viewed as equal, and in a service reading is done from both of them. People are free to call on Allah or God when they pray and Moses, Muhammad and Jesus were all prophets of equal status and they are to be loved.

In the music worship part, Christian and Islamic hymns are sung. Holidays like Christmas, Easter, Ramadan and other Christian and Islamic holidays are equally observed.  In their place of worship there is an altar built after the model that Abraham used and worshippers can come before this altar and seek God in prayer. Members are trained in evangelism and are working to convert outsiders to their faith.

Tela Tella feels that both the Bible and the Koran are incomplete and he is in the process of writing his own book that will supplement the Bible and the Koran.

THE AMERICAN VERSION

A number of gullible American religious leaders have founded a movement in the United States known as, “Faith Shared.” This is actually a branch of another organization called “Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First.” Interfaith Alliance was founded in 1994 and headquartered in Washington D.C. was later was joined with the Human Rights First organization. The combo claims a membership in 2011 of 185,000 people that are joined by 75 different faiths.

Thus Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First are two different organizations. Tracing back the origin of Human Rights first, we find that they came into existence in the mid 1970’s and they were then called “Lawyers’ Alliance for New York.” In 1978, the name was changed to the “Lawyers Committee for International Human Rights,” and in 2003 the name was changed to “Human Rights First.”[1] It is interesting to note that most people who serve on the Board of Directors of Human Rights First are American Jews.

What makes this so bad in the United States are the people who are promoting this movement.  Robert Schuller, the founding pastor of the Crystal Cathedral located in Garden Grove, California, was one of the key note speakers at a conference at Yale Divinity School on July 30, 2008. The theme for this conference was to promote understanding and peace between Christianity and Islam. The conference was held in response to a letter signed by 138 Muslim leaders in October of 2007 that called for peace between Muslims and Christians for the sake of world peace. The letter was entitled, “A Common Word Between Us and You.”[2]

Among the 300 American theologians, ministry leaders and prominent pastors that signed a letter of response to the Muslim community were Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church; Bill Hybels, pastor of Willow Creek Community Church; Robert Schuller; theologian John Stott; Jim Wallis, president of Sojourners; and Leith Anderson, President of the National Association of Evangelicals.

Rick Warren is a renegade Southern Baptist preacher who is spearheading the movement to bridge the differences between Christianity and Islam. Some 200,000 pastors worldwide on a weekly basis are receiving mailings and most of them also subscribe to his sermons. On July 4, 2009, Warren addressed the 46^th annual convention of the “Islamic Society of North America,” in Washington D.C.  There were 8,000 Muslims at the convention. Instead of telling them that there is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved (Acts 4:10-12), he said that “Muslims and Christians must work together to combat stereotypes, promote peace and freedom and solve global problems.” According to Warren, Christians and Muslims are faith mates, soul mates and work mates.  Warren believes that “...Tolerance is not enough. People don’t want to be tolerated; they want to be respected, they want to be listened to, they want to be valued…I am not interested in interfaith dialogue, I am interested in interfaith projects. Talk is cheap…”[3] In a previous meeting with Muslims Warren said, “…before we shake your hand, we, Christians, ask forgiveness of the All-Merciful One and of the Muslim community around the world.”[4]

Warren has collected many new friends and one of them is Cat Stevens, a British born musician, who through his music has a tremendous influence on people. He was born in England in 1948 to a Greek father and a Swedish mother and was named Steven Demetre Georgiou, but changed his name to Cat Stevens when he became famous. His dad was Greek Orthodox and his mother from a Swedish Baptist background but they sent him to a Roman Catholic private school. He converted to Islam in 1977, took the name Yusuf Islam and now pushes the Islamic faith as hard as he can. Warren has opened the doors to Christian churches around the world for this converted Muslim to spread his poison. There has been no outrage from any leading pastors in the United States and Warren and his ilk are destroying the church of Jesus Christ without any resistance.

STRANGE BEDFELLOWS

On June 20, 2011, Christianity Today reported that television evangelist Jack Van Impe is leaving the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) because he was censured by Paul Crouch for attacking Rick Warren’s involvement in Chrislam. Van Impe doesn’t have the freedom to speak any more on this network and has decided to move his programs to other outlets.[5] It is interesting that Van Impe used to be a fiery Baptist evangelist who preached that the Roman Catholic Church was the great whore. A few years ago he made a 180 degree turn, repented of his Catholic bashing over the years, and proclaimed that the Roman Catholic Church was the true church of God. He has since embraced the Catholic faith, which his father had renounced when he got saved many years ago and became a Baptist preacher.

FAITH SHARING 2011

June 26^th was the big kick off rally organized by Faith Shared. The theme was to work to unite Christianity with Islam, but since the hosting organization is governed by American Jews, Rabbis were also invited to participate. Sunday services on June 26^th at the National Cathedral in Washington D. C. included readings from the Torah and the Quran. The service was led by several religious leaders from the D.C. area which included an Imam, a Rabbi, and a Priest. Similar services also took place in more than 70 other churches, in 32 different states.[6] In order to show the growth of this new “spiritual cancer” that is spreading in the Christian churches, I am listing some of the denominations to which the participating churches belong: Presbyterians, Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Congregational, Unitarian, Church of Christ, Episcopal, Methodist and Baptist. I received this information from the official listing of participating churches on the website of Faith Shared.[7]  Special Sunday school lessons had been prepared based upon the teachings of the prophet Muhammad. During the worship services there were quotations from the Koran.

Speaking at a joint news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, on November 20, 2003, former President George W. Bush stated that Christians, Jews and Muslims all “worship the same God.”[8] In his inauguration prayer for Barack Obama on January 20, 2009, Rick Warren referred to Jesus by the Muslim name of “Isa.” What Warren and others need to bring out is that while reference is made to Jesus in the Koran, it is only as a prophet among all other prophets.

In a news release from Warren’s site, Pastors.com, on June 27, 2011, Geoff Surratt wrote an article entitled, “The End of the Great Commission.” He is a Rick Warren clone that subscribes to the theory that “a healthy, culturally-relevant church must be available to every person on earth by the end of 2020” and believes that this “healthy church teaches a theology that does not veer far out of the mainstream of historic Christianity. This means that Armenians are in, Calvinists are in, but unfortunately Mormons are out… An effective church speaks the language, understands the customs and honors the traditions of the culture it is trying to impact.”  This is accomplished by “planting churches at the ends of the earth.”^[9]

Rick Warren and Bill Hybels are known for their “double speak.” It is a technique that will tell some truth but in such a way that only the initiated can really understand what it means. This type of communication has been used by the people in the occult for centuries, particularly by Freemasonic leaders. You need to know that a “culturally-relevant church” is a church that has been adopted to fit all kinds of religions that exist in the community. Therefore a church that is teaching that “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,” does not fit into this category. These are the kinds of churches that Warren and Hybels have created in the last 20 years. Both men have learned well from their mentor, Robert Schuller, who’s mentor was Norman Vincent Peale, who’s mentor was none less than Satan himself.

SUMMARY

As we approach the time of the Antichrist, we would do well to investigate what the apostle Paul told us about the time. There is someone holding the man of sin back and we know that is the Holy Spirit. But how does the Holy Spirit hold him back? The shocking answer is through the Church, the body of Christ. For centuries men and women have been saved and through their lives evil has been pushed back and unable to enslave the entire world. Parts of the world have been enslaved from time to time, but each evil empire crumbled at the feet of Jesus and His church. However, when the Church is polluted and its message destroyed, it cannot be used by the Holy Spirit to hold back the hordes of the Antichrist.

Today there are homosexual ministers in the pulpit of many denominations. State after state is legalizing homosexual marriages. Churches no longer preach against fornication and adultery and the thousands of pastors who have committed adultery and divorced their wives are still allowed to pastor. The call is getting louder and louder for a merge with other religions. New Age teaching is rampant in the churches and more than 60 million babies have been murdered since 1973. The Body of Christ is infested with deadly cancer but few pastors and members are interested in fighting it.

Our ministry is one of the few that is still standing and the question is, how long will we last? It’s not that we will succumb to false doctrine but can we increase our ranks and stay afloat financially?  In the last 20 years, hundreds of people who were members of this ministry or supported it have left this earth and are today rejoicing in heaven. Are you able to enlist new Christian soldiers where you live? Are you willing to share the material we send out? We are in the final battle to hold back Satan’s forces and every Christian counts. Prayer and fasting are our weapons as we trust in Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

The reason that Rick Warren is able to change the Christian faith is that he has millions of people who support him with their labor and finances. The success of all the renegade television evangelists comes from the millions of people who are supporting them with their money. Barack Obama was able to win the presidency because he had the largest number of people supporting him financially and politically.

There are many people who agree with what our ministry is standing for but not many of them are willing to commit themselves to work with us and support us financially. We need more people to rally around us if we are going to make a difference in the world. This will only happen if the Holy Spirit moves on people, and that will only happen if people are praying and seeking the Lord.

BUT I AM ONLY ONE PERSON…

There are more than a 100 million Americans who are eligible to vote in an election and it is the accumulation of each vote that makes the difference. Please don’t think that you don’t count for much; every believer in Christ is important and regardless if you can donate one dollar or 50 dollars, it is the accumulation that makes the difference.

It all depends upon God’s people if we are going to enter the national scene and make a difference. God called upon Moses to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, but if the people had not rallied around him, there would not have been an exodus from Egypt. God called David to become the king of Israel, but if the people had not rallied around him, he would not have been king.

The children of the hippies in the 1960’s and 70’s are the ones who make up the workforce in the United States today. They are the teachers in our schools, the doctors and nurses in our hospitals, the ministers in our churches and the political leaders in our land. Those who do not have a solid Biblical foundation will have the moral values of their parents, who dropped out, tuned in and got stoned on drugs. They lived a wild life of what they called, “free love and sex,” and listening to music created by the Devil.

This hippie offspring is now raising the next generation that will be even more immoral than their grandparents. The people who are going to populate America in this century are going to be totally void of any morality and every institution in America will be affected.

There is still time to make a difference, but time is short. Are you willing to join with me so that we can make a stand for Christ in this lost generation. Look at these very sad verses in the Bible:

“And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land.

 And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.

 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.

 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.

 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.” (Judges 2:6-13)

I walked with my wife on the streets of the little town of Mill Valley, California in 1970’s and saw small children playing on the sidewalk with no shoes, dirty hair and dressed in tattered clothing. I remember telling her that one day these children would rule this nation. They would be our doctors, nurses, teachers, political leaders and ministers; it will be a bad future for America. I shared the same thing when preaching in different churches but people paid no attention since the nation was ruled by a generation who had been raised on the Bible in public school, most of the leaders had attended Sunday school and the majority of the people attended strong churches. But just like Israel, that generation is now gone and we are now seeing a new generation that does not know the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Have you ever stopped to think that the current occupant in the White House, Barack Hussein Obama is the child of a hippie mother, Stanley Ann Dunham and an absentee father, Hussein Onhango Obama from Kenya?

There is not much of the Church of Jesus Christ that is free from spiritual cancer. Resistance against the forces of the Antichrist is getting weaker and weaker. Look at these Bible verses and pray that God will convict you to stand up for righteousness and truth. 

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming…” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-8)
