One
of the hottest celebrities today is the vulgar, violent and demonic Ozzy
Osbourne. MTV recently launched the profanity-soaked The Osbournes family
show. The Osbournes is simply filmed during Oz and family’s normal (if
you could possibly call it that) daily life. No acting. . . No pretense. . .
Just simply being their abnormal self. It’s just "family time with The
Osbournes". I stomached one nauseating viewing of The Osbournes
(and believe me – that was one too many!). I counted 51 occurrences of the
"F-word" in a little over 15 minutes (episode "Dinner with Ozzy").
Profanity and perversion is spewed by all the Oz kin – Oz, wife, teenage
daughter and son. Of course, MTV "bleeps" the worse profanity out, but
the actual words are easily understood. In between the onslaught of f-words, and
depravity, a drug-cooked-burnt-out Ozzy staggers, mumbles, shakes and screams in
a state of spaced-out, confusion. Much of the subject matter and perverse acts
can not and will not be repeated in this article – but believe me – it’s
sicko, sicko and sicko. . . And sicko. . .
MTV’s vulgar and vile The Osbournes is the most successful show in
MTV history! It received the highest ratings of any other entertainment program
on any other cable station this season. Over 8 million viewers tune in to The
Osbournes. MTV’s contract to extend The Osbournes profanity-program
another two years was the most expensive in MTV’s history! Over $20 million!
". . . men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil. . ."
John 3:19
Knowing MTV’s usual subject matter and tweenie audience the huge success of
the disgusting The Osbournes is no real shocker. The more vile. . . The
more vulgar. . . The more offensive. . . The more teenagers. . . will watch MTV.
And let’s not forget the mountain of books such as The Osbournes Unf***ingauthorized,
episode guides, and scores of others. There’s talking and bobbing head dolls
of The Osbournes, complete with the "bleeped out" F-word. And
of course there’s the deluge of The Osbournes posters, keychains,
trading cards, caps, t-shirts, calendars, magazines, coin-banks, snow globes and
who knows what else.
The fact that mainstream America has lavishly welcomed Ozzy and The
Osbournes with accolades, awards and open arms is a frightening testimony to
the perverted spiritual and moral condition of America.
For instance, Ozzy recently was awarded the coveted star on the renowned
Hollywood Hall of Fame. As someone pointed out, the Oz’s star was ironically
in front of the Ripley's Believe it Or Not! Museum. Satanist and fellow
pervert-rocker, Marilyn Manson introduced Ozzy at the bizarre Hollywood Walk of
Fame Ceremony. Manson said, "This star right here proves that it's quite
obvious that Ozzy has managed to succeed while remaining insane and strangely
happy, despite his various crimes against God and nature." We'll
look at his "crimes against God" later, along with his
"insanity" and "strangely happy" condition.
The expletive-drenched The Osbournes was awarded an Emmy award for the
year's outstanding nonfiction reality program.
Oh. . . Guess who was the star at the 2002 White House Correspondents Dinner?
The self-proclaimed, Prince of Darkness, himself. Oz was the surprise guest of
Fox's Greta Van Susteren. Despite the sea of celebrities, congressman, and even
President Bush’s presence – clearly, the main attraction was the Oz.
President Bush amazingly gave the "Bush Seal of Approval" to Oz and
his music. President Bush said in his speech at the gala event, "The thing
about Ozzy is, he's made a lot of big hit recordings 'Party With the Animals.'
'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.' 'Facing Hell.' 'Black Skies' and 'Bloodbath in
Paradise.'" And then President Bush added, "Ozzy, Mom loves your
stuff."
Basking in their new found, mainstream acceptance and adoration, Oz and
family have appeared on such notables as Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show
and a special one hour "Meet the Osbournes" 20/20 with Barbara
Walters.
Remember Dan Quayle? The former vice-president, who went ballistic because
TV’s Murphy Brown had a baby out of wedlock. When asked his opinion of The
Osbournes, Quayle replied The Osbournes were "good
entertainment" and "good family values". Dan did you somehow miss
the episode where Oz puts condoms in his teenagers drawers so they can have
"safe sex"? Or when Oz gives his teenagers (Kelly 18 and Jack 15) some
"fatherly advice" as they’re going out for the night, "If you
have sex use a condom". Or the zillion occurrences of the F-word. . . Plus
the other quad-trillion vulgarities and perverse conversations. Good
entertainment. . . Good family values. . . God help us. . .
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;. . ."
Isaiah 5:20
FOR THE REST OF THE STORY. . .
While the media is romancing Ozzy with prestigious awards and accolades
there’s another side of the Oz that they’ve somehow skipped. It is the evil
and dark testimony of a man who truly "sold his soul for rock ‘n
roll" down a wicked dark path of drugs, debauchery, the occult and
demon-possession.
As Paul Harvey would say, "Now, for the rest of the story".
IN THE BEGINNING. . .
OZZY AND BLACK SABBATH
Ozzy’s claim to fame was the lead singer of the heavy metal group Black
Sabbath. Singing songs filled with doom, evil, the occult, Satan and
destruction, Black Sabbath’s music has been appropriately referred to as
"Satan Rock".
Sabbath’s music is described as ". . .demonic riffing . . . ."
(Guitar World, July 2001, p. 62), possessing a ". . . demonic nature. .
." (Guitar Legends, No. 37, p. 32) and ". . . a fascination with evil
and the devil. . ." (Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 59)
Making sure no one could possibly misinterpret their pro-Devil and
anti-Christ message, Sabbath’s first album portrayed a demonic witch on the
cover and in the inside – the cross of Jesus Christ – upside-down. The
universal symbol of Satanism and anti-Christianity.
Sabbath’s song N.I.B. (Nativity In Black), from their first album, is one
of the most openly satanic songs ever recorded. It is a love-song from Lucifer.
In the song, Ozzy sings in the first person as a loving, gift-giving Lucifer. .
. And Ozzy, a.k.a Lucifer, openly invites the listener to "take Lucifer’s
hand".
"Some people say MY LOVE cannot be true
Please believe me, MY LOVE, and I'll show you
I will give you those things you thought unreal . . .
YOUR LOVE FOR ME has just got to be real . . .
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
MY NAME IS LUCIFER, PLEASE TAKE MY HAND!"
Their namesake song Black Sabbath, in which Ozzy sings of a smiling Satan
appearing as a black shape with eyes of fire, was taken from an actual, demonic
visitation of Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler.
"Having borrowed a 16th century tome [book] of black magic from [Ozzy]
Osbourne one afternoon, Butler awoke that night to find a black shape
staring balefully at him from the foot of his bed. After a few frightening
moments, the figure slowly vanished into thin air. . . I told Ozzy about it.
It stuck in his mind, and when we started playing ‘Black Sabbath,’ he just
came out with those lyrics. . . It had to come out, and it eventually did in
that song – and then there was only one possible name for the band,
really!’"
(Geezer Butler, Guitar World, July 2001, p. 67)
What is this that stands before me?
Figure in black which points at me. . .
Big black shape with eyes of fire. . .
Satan's sitting there, he's smiling
Watches those flames get higher and higher
Oh no, no, please God help me!. . .
Satan's coming 'round the bend
Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Circus magazine candidly writes of Satan’s message in the song Black
Sabbath:
"Ozzy portrays a man beyond redemption who’s confronted by a
‘black shape with eyes of fire’ – Satan."
(Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 59)
The dark history of Black Sabbath is filled with very real, demonic,
supernatural visitations and experiences.
"While rehearsing new material, the band formerly known as Earth experienced
a supernatural experience. Geezer and Tony were playing new riffs for Ozzy
and Bill when, much to everyone’s surprise, they both strummed the same
notes at the same tempo – although neither had ever before heard the other
one play the piece! Convinced that this was an omen, Geezer christened the
song and the group Black Sabbath,. . ."
(Black Sabbath: The Ozzy Osbourne Years, p. 8)
"I'd sort of dabbled in Black Magic, not practicing it, but I
was interested in it. All these horrible things kept happening to me – a lot
of my aunts and uncles started dying and I was seeing all these bloody
things visiting me during the night."
(Geezer, Seconds, #39, pp. 63-64)
"I was seeing all kinds of things at the time, and not through
drugs,’ Butler reveals. ‘Ever since I was a kid, I’d have
premonitions and weird things would appear to me.’"
(Geezer Butler, Guitar World, July 2001, p. 67)
"Geezer’s encounters with the supernatural continued. During
recording of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in Bel Air, the bassist felt an ominous
presence fill his bedroom. He looked up to see several specters glaring
at him from above with overpowering effect. Awash with fear, he
immediately awakened Bill, Tony, and Ozzy to tell them what has happened.
Geezer soon discovered that all of his fellow bandmates had experienced
similar events. . . To Sabbath it was obvious that a dark, ominous
cloud was looming over them."
(Black Sabbath: The Ozzy Osbourne Years, p. 19)
Bill Ward, drummer for Sabbath, admits there was a supernatural presence that
inspired Sabbath. It was so real that Ward confesses, it was as if there was
actually a "fifth member" in the group.
"I believe that Black Sabbath was a phenomenon. On that basis, when I
look back now at the band, I have felt that there was a fifth member, if
you like. . . So I've always considered that there was some way where
we were able to channel energy, and that energy was able to be, from another
source, if you like, like a higher power or something, that was actually doing
the work. I've often thought of us just being actually just the earthly beings
that played the music because it was uncanny. Some of this music came out
extremely uncanny."
(Mike Stark, Black Sabbath An Oral History, p. 6)
Sabbath’s album "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" displays on the cover
demons possessing a man while a skull with Satan’s "mark of the
beast" 666 beams across the top. One of their album’s was truthful
titled, "We Sold Our Soul for Rock and Roll".
The most frightening and enlightening statement concerning Black
Sabbath’s real beliefs was made by drummer Bill Ward in Circus magazine:
"We’re into God," defended Iommi, an avid reader on books on
astral projection. ‘But sometimes I feel Satan is God.’ Ward
countered."
(Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 59)
Much, much more could be said about Black Sabbath and Satan’s influence.
OZZY’S DEPARTURE FROM SABBATH
In 1978, due to his heavy drug and alcohol addiction, Ozzy Osbourne was fired
as the lead singer of Black Sabbath. After several years of drinking and
suicidal depression, Sharon (Ozzy’s current wife and manager) restored
Ozzy’s music career. Since that time, Ozzy has sold over 70 million records.
And continuing down the "evil path" initiated in Black Sabbath Ozzy,
told Hit Parader magazine ". . . let everybody know that I’m
just as evil and just as crazy as ever". (Hit Parader, 1981
Yearbook, p. 28)
And Ozzy wasn’t kidding. Ozzy is famous for his "evil and
crazy" behavior.
During Ozzy’s concerts fans would bring live animals to the concerts such
as cats, chickens, frogs, snakes, et al to throw on the stage. Some would be
slaughtered in a rock induced demonic state. During Ozzy’s "Bark At The
Moon Tour " a live bat was tossed on the stage. Ozzy grabbed the bat and
bit the head off. For this perverse act, Ozzy required 2 weeks of rabies shots.
Such acts resulted in many of Ozzy’s concerts being protested by animal
activists and animal human societies.
As Sharon was resurrecting Ozzy’s career, she set up a meeting between Ozzy
and CBS Records executives. To start the meeting Sharon planned for Ozzy to
quietly release three white Doves. Ozzy did release two of the Doves – the
third helpless dove – he bit the head off.
In 1982 while performing in San Antonio, Texas, Ozzy slipped on his wife’s
green evening dress and high heels. He then walked over to the Alamo, and rudely
urinated on the treasured Alamo wall. He was quickly arrested and forbidden to
perform in San Antonio for the next ten years.
During Ozzy’s "Dairy of a Madman" ["Madman" no truer
words were even spoken] concerts Ozzy would toss raw cow livers and pig
intestines into the audience. Part of Ozzy’s "Dairy of a Madman"
tour required the promoter to provide at least 25 pounds of raw cow livers and
pig intestines for his demonic "raw meat" baptism.
Rolling Stone magazine describes some of Ozzy’s perverted acts:
". . . he has shot up a henhouse full of chickens and killed a whole gang
of cats and snorted a line of ants like they were a line of cocaine and bitten
the head off a bat, and catapulted meat (stomach and intestines, mostly) into
his audience."
(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 114)
Ozzy tells Guitar Legends "he went crazy" and sadistically
slaughtered 17 cats.
"I was taking drugs so much I was a wreck, The final straw came when I
shot all our cats. We had about 17, and I went crazy and shot them all.
My wife found me under the piano in a white suit, a shotgun in one hand and a
knife in the other."
(Guitar Legends, No. 37, p. 34)
Possessing many of the tell-tale signs suggesting the Biblical marks of demon
possession, Ozzy readily acknowledges the likelihood of Satan’s influence.
"I really wish I knew why I’ve done some of the things I’ve done
over the years. Sometimes I think that I’m possessed by some outside
spirit. A few years ago, I was convinced of that – I thought I truly was
possessed by the devil. I remember sitting through the Exorcist a dozen
times, saying to myself, ‘Yeah, I can relate to that.’"
(Hit Parader, Nov., 1984, p. 49)
Many of Ozzy’s songs tell the story of a man possessed by something very
evil – and he knows it!
I can hear'em, I can hear'em
I can see'em, I can see'em. . .
In my head I hear the voices scream. . .

Always dancing on thin ice I guess I'll have to pay the price

GOT BLOOD?
One of the most Satanic and demonic practices is the drinking of blood. The
Word of God strongly condemns and warns against the drinking of blood.
Leviticus 17:11-14
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to
you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood
that maketh an atonement for the soul.
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat
blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. . .
14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life
thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the
blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof:
whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
The drinking of blood is part of the Satanic Black Mass. It is a very, very
serious and demonic act. The drinking of blood is almost certainly an open
invitation to Satanic and demonic possession.
BLOOD (occult; Satanism). The vitalizing or life-giving agent used in the
sacrament of the BLACK MASS. Blood is believed to proved power and life and
therefore plays a central part in ritualistic sacrifices. . . [In Satanism,
during the black mass] The drinking of blood during a rite is . . . to
partake of the 'life energy' that blood provides.
(George A. Mather and Larry A. Nichols, Dictionary of Cults, Sects,
Religions and the Occult, p.40, 245)
Dr. Kurt Koch, without question the world’s greatest authority on demonism
and the occult, writes the drinking of blood is practiced by those who have
"sold themselves to the devil. . ."
"Vampirism is practiced by Satanists and those who have sold themselves
to the devil with their blood. . . sucking their blood or drinking it as
part of a ritual, or in the celebration of the black mass."
(Kurt Koch, Occult ABC, p. 254)
Former Satan worshipper, Sean Sellers, in 1985, at the young age of 16,
brutally murdered three people, including his own mother — to "please
Satan". Sean describes in his book, Web of Darkness, how Satan took
over his life as he ". . . began to drink blood."
"I had begun to drink blood. I actually craved it. I took blood
from my friends and myself, storing it in vials I had taken from a
clinic."
(Sean Sellers, Web of Darkness, p. 30)
One of the most frightening and alarming things, I've ever read, is an
interview with Ozzy Osbourne in Oui magazine (March 1982). In the
interview, Ozzy proudly describes a "habit" of "rather
frequently" drinking blood:
Ozzy: ". . . I spent three years in a slaughterhouse, killing cows and
pigs and all sorts of things. It got pretty bizarre – I was figuring out all
these different ways to kill these animals. Have you ever drank blood?"
Qui: "Me? I faint if my steak is too rare. What kind of blood are you
talking about?"
Ozzy: Oh, Ox blood, pig’s blood. I have, and I gotta admit, the first time
you do it, you get quite a weird feeling."
Qui: "What was the first time like?"
Ozzy: "Well, you kinda stick a knife in there and hold out your cup. After
that I got into the habit and started drinking it rather frequently."
(Oui, March 1982, pp. 36, 56)
I believe when Ozzy drank that forbidden blood, he certainly did ". .
. get quite a weird feeling." And I believe I know that feeling was. .
.
One
of Ozzy's sickening posters and t-shirts (among many) shows Ozzy mocking the
popular "got milk?" advertisement. But with Ozzy, instead of
"got milk?" – it says "got blood?"
Ozzy and wife Sharon recently (2002) renewed their contract for the MTV's
"freaked-out", The Osbournes. Despite the protests of the MTV
executives, Ozzy adamantly required the contract to be signed in blood. Ozzy
also required MTV to provide psychotherapy for his pets for life.
One
of Ozzy’s albums is chillingly titled Speak of the Devil. The cover
shows a demon-possessed Ozzy complete with fangs and supposedly raw, bloody meat
dripping from his mouth.
Guitar Legends describes the cover of Ozzy’s album The Blizzard of
Oz, as ". . .depicting a red-caped, demon-possessed Ozzy welding a
crucifix, . . ."
(Guitar Legends, No. 37, p. 34)
Ozzy confesses to Creem magazine, he "loved thinking about Satan. .
.":
"Always loved it. Loved thinking about Satan and devils and
frightening myself to death."
(Creem Metal, Oct. 1984, p. 39)
In Circus magazine, Ozzy says, he had "a thing about Satan"
from a child, and the "Devil is within us. . ." Ozzy knows a lot about
that. . .
"I've always had this thing about Satan from the time I was small.
But I suddenly realized that the Devil isn't this &*$%#^ thing with red
eyes and fangs and all that crap. The Devil is within us all the time.
"
(Circus, Aug. 26, 1980, p. 26)
Sharon, Ozzy’s wife openly tells Barbara Walters on 20/20 of Ozzy’s
"demon" and "little people that live in Ozzy’s head"
[Sharon]: "He's just got this demon inside of him. He just can't get
rid of these little people that live in his head."
[Barbara]: "What do they say these little people?"
[Sharon]: "He tells me they say, he's no good he's a failure, he useless,
he's this, he's that."
(20/20, Barbara Walters, Nov. 6, 2002)
Ozzy tells Rolling Stone, of his evil appetite for violence and
killing.
"I’m one of these guys, I wake up in the morning and got a &*%$#
problem: I’m looking for something to kill or blow up or some &*%$#
thing. . ."
(Rolling Stone magazine, May 9, 2002, p. 34)
Ozzy admits to Hit Parader magazine years ago of the possibility of
"murdering someone".
"It got to the point where I really hated myself. . . I saw that if I
didn’t do something about it, I was probably going to end up killing myself
– or worse, I’d wind up murdering someone else. . . "
(Hit Parader, July 1985, p. 38)
And on September 2, 1989, Ozzy’s prophetic warning of killing someone
nearly came true. On that day Ozzy and his demons nearly murdered his own wife.
Here’s how Sharon describes the terrifying moment to Barbara Walters on 20/20:
"I was downstairs reading. He came down with just his underpants on. And
he's like, 'We've come to a decision.' And I'm like, 'We've'?
And he said 'You have to die'. And then he just dived on me and got me
down on the and was just strangling me. But he was gone. There was
blinkers on his eyes. He had gone. It wasn't Ozzy."
(20/20, Barbara Walters, Nov. 6, 2002)
Ozzy was soon arrested for attempted murder. According to Rolling Stone
magazine, "Ozzy’s drug counselors told her [Sharon] to get out of the
marriage…(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 148) And Dan Quayle says
The Osbournes is a "loving home".
Notice how Ozzy refers to "We’ve come to a decision". It
wasn’t just Ozzy Osbourne that tried to kill his wife. He had help.
Sharon was right – "it wasn’t Ozzy".
"I really wish I knew why I’ve done some of the things I’ve done over
the years. Sometimes I think that I’m possessed by some outside spirit. A
few years ago, I was convinced of that – I thought I truly was possessed by
the devil. I remember sitting through the Exorcist a dozen times, saying
to myself, ‘Yeah, I can relate to that.’"
(Hit Parader, Nov., 1984, p. 49)
Ozzy later said he didn’t even remember what happened that fearful day in
September 1989:
"Do you remember the night in 1989 when you threatened to kill your wife?
No, absolutely not. It was my biggest &%%#@ fear. I always feared
going out and getting &%%#@ up and having somebody say, that's
the guy that killed my son. . . I was having blackouts and doing crazy
&%%#@. I didn't even know what the &%%#@ I'd done. I'd wake
up in different beds with different people and think, &%%#@, what am I
doing here?"
Ozzy’s wife Sharon tells People Magazine, being married to Ozzy
". . . is like living with several different people. One day he can
be loving and romantic, but the next day he'll turn into this Jekyll and Hyde
monster. I never know what I'm going to wake up with" (People
Magazine, July, 10, 1989, p. 94)
According to the Word of God, one of the characteristics of demon-possession is
hanging around tombs or graveyeards: The Bible in Mark 5, describes a man
possessed with an unclean spirit. The Bible says he was ". . . dwelling
among the tombs. . ."
Mark 5:1-5
5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the
Gadarenes.
2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out
of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind
him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains
had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither
could any man tame him.
5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs,
crying, and cutting himself with stones.
To no surprise, Ozzy also told Creem magazine, he "loved
graveyeards":
"I was always sittin' in graveyards. Loved the tranquility.
There's an eerie silence in there, and there was always a sweet smell. Unearthly."
(Creem Metal, October 1984, p. 39)
Ozzy says, he's got "many, many demons that affect me on many, many
levels":
"I was born in fear and I've got many, many demons that affect me on
many, many levels. . ."
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 126)
"I have this little demon that keeps making me drink. . ."
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 75)
Ozzy proudly informs Rolling Stone magazine, he’s the ". . . Prince
of darkness. . ."
"I’m the Prince of Darkness, not *&%$#! Neil Young!"
(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 148)
Here
is a man; who is the self-professed "Prince of Darkness"; who readily
spews forth some of the most filthy and vulgar words on the planet; who tried to
murder his wife; who readily admits to possible possession by Satan himself –
and he’s heralded and romanced by Hollywood, the media, politicians and even
the President of the United States! We’ve come a long way baby! Unfortunately
– it’s a straight path to hell!
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalm 9:17
Sharon
Osbourne (Ozzy's wife and manager) several years ago created a rock concert in
tribute to Ozzy called Ozzfest. Ozzfest, held annually, brings in the top heavy
metal bands and is probably the world's largest heavy metal rock concert. An
advertisement for the Ozzfest music says it all, "Now Hell has a
Soundtrack"
There is also a mockery of the Lord Jesus Christ that runs through Ozzy
and his music.
During the Sabbath years, to show his hatred for Christianity, Ozzy would rip
up the Gideon Bibles in the hotels where they stayed. At one point Ozzy’s
"Bible-ripping" fits got so bad that Tony Iommi, Sabbath’s
guitarist, punched Ozzy in the nose to keep him from ripping up the Bibles.
Ozzy proudly boasts of burning the Gideon Bibles found in the hotel rooms:
"I mean all this Bible burning, we used to do that in &*#$#@ '71!
Just to have something to do! We'd get drunk and &*#$#@ burn the
Gideon's Bible in the hotel room!"
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 114)
The
Bible says when the Lord Jesus Christ was brought before Pilate the soldiers put
a crown of thorns on His head. They then began mocking and beating Him. Oh
friend, He did all that for you! Showing his hatred for the Lord Jesus Christ,
Ozzy is pictured wearing a "crown of thorns".
Matthew 27:29
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a
reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him,
saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
John 19:2-3
And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they
put on him a purple robe, And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him
with their hands.
One of Black Sabbath’s songs (during Ozzy’s years) is "Who are
You?" – a vicious attack toward the Lord Jesus Christ
. . . You think all the people
Who worship you are blind. . .
Giving us your trust (trust or Cross?)
And when you have played enough
You'll just cast our souls
Into the dust. . .
In the name of hell
Who are you?
Ozzy's recently released (2001) album Down to Earth displays one of the most
blasphemous attacks of the Lord Jesus Christ ever! The cover shows an x-ray type
picture of Ozzy mocking the Lord Jesus Christ on the precious cross of Calvary!
It's beyond blasphemy!
On the song "Dreamer" on Down to Earth, Ozzy sings, ". . .
Your higher power may be God or Jesus Christ it doesn't really matter much to
me. . ."
Another song on the Down to Earth album is titled "Facing Hell", as
Ozzy truthfully sings, "I'm facing hell".
You made a promise of protection to a future after life
To the final resurrection until eternal paradise
But then I'm blinded with temptation into every mortal sin. . .
Is it God that sits there waiting or will the darkness suck me in
Evil one is coming and he's knockin' your door Cause today's the day
you pay
Oh yeah, I'm praying that you'll never know
That I'm facing hell
Facing Hell from Down to Earth by Ozzy Osbourne
One of Ozzy’s songs is about Satanist and Antichrist, Aliester Crowley.
Crowley's mission in life was to destroy Jesus Christ and Christianity, while
glorifying sexual perversion, drugs, magick and Satan.
Aliester Crowley spews his hatred of Jesus Christ in his book, The World's
Tragedy:
"I do not wish to argue that the doctrines of Jesus, they and they
alone, have degraded the world to it's present condition. I take it that
Christianity is not only the cause but the symptom of slavery."
(Aleister Crowley, The World's Tragedy, p. XXXIX)
"That religion they call Christianity; the devil they honor they
call God. I accept these definitions, as a poet must do, if he is to be at
all intelligible to his age, and it is their God and their religion that I
HATE and will DESTROY."
(Aleister Crowley, The World's Tragedy, p. XXXI)
In the introduction of The World's Tragedy, Israel Regardie writes:
"This long, almost epic poem is one of the most bitter and vicious
diatribes against Christianity that I have ever read".
Aleister Crowley was born in 1875, a self-professed drug addict, sex pervert,
anti-Christ and Satan’s "chief of staff". In April, 1904, a dark,
shadowy presence [like Black Sabbath’s experiences], later identified as
Crowley’s Holy Guardian Angel Aiwaz, began dictating to Crowley Liber Al
vel Legis or The Book of the Law. This Book of the Law became
the foundation for Satanists around the globe.
Crowley’s devotion and worship to Satan is well documented:
Crowley writes in his autohagiography, The Confessions of Aleister Crowley:
"I simply went over to Satan’s side; and to this hour I cannot
tell why. But I found myself passionately eager to serve my new master.
. . I was not content to believe in a personal devil and serve him, in the
ordinary sense of the word. I wanted to get hold of him personally and
become his chief of staff."
(Aleister Crowley, The Confessions of Aleister Crowley, p. 67)
Crowley christened himself, The Beast 666, and literally believed he was the
anti-Christ, the Beast 666.
"I have never lost sight of the fact that I was in some sense or other
The Beast 666."
(Aleister Crowley, The Confessions of Aleister Crowley, p. 387)
"Before I touched my teens, I was already aware that I was THE
BEAST whose number is 666".
(Aleister Crowley, Magick:Liber ABA, book four, parts I-IV, 1994 Ordo
Templi Orientis editon, p. 127)
Crowley practiced and preached human sacrifice to Satan. In his book, Magick
in Theory and Practice, Crowley, gives the following frightening
instructions under the chapter "Of the Bloody Sacrifice and Matters
Cognate":
"For the highest spiritual working one must according choose that victim
which contains the greatest and purest force [ed. such as a child]. A male
child of perfect innocence and high intelligence is the most satisfactory and
suitable victim. . .
But the bloody sacrifice, though more dangerous, is more efficacious: and for
nearly all purposes human sacrifice is the best".
(Aleister Crowely, Magick:Liber ABA, book four, parts I-IV, part
Three-Magick in Theory and Practice, 1994 Ordo Templi Orientis ediiton, pp.
207, 208)
Ozzy has a song of dedication to Aliester Crowley titled "Mr.
Crowley". In the song, Ozzy, asks Crowley to ride "my white
horse".
. . . You fooled all the people with magic
You waited on Satan's call . . .
Mr. Crowley, won't you ride my white horse
Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne
While Ozzy, has tried to downplay any influence of Crowley, Ozzy told Circus
magazine, "One of the songs is about this guy named Aleister Crowley. That
man was the phenomenon of his time…"
(Circus, Aug. 26, 1980, p.26)
Spin magazine also reports that Ozzy is the proud owner of a signed
first edition of Aliester Crowley's 1001 Notable Nativities. The text
actually includes Crowley's notes in the margins. (Spin, April 2002, p.
97)
According to the book From Rock to Rock Ozzy tells Creem
magazine, "It was all hype when I started, but I really learned to
believe in the devil. I dedicated The Blizzard of Oz to Aleister Crowley".
(From Rock to Rock, Eric Barger, p.133)
Ozzy tells Circus magazine, he wanted to build a black cathedral [used in
Satanic rituals] in the back of his house — but his wife stopped him:
"I mean one time I wanted to get a &%$@%#& black cathedral
built in back of my house. She [his wife] freaked and wouldn't allow
it."
(Circus, Aug. 26, 1980, p. 26)
Fast following the demonic footsteps of Aliester Crowley, Ozzy told Circus
magazine he feels like he was once a servant of Crowley's or the devil's:
"Circus: It is said that Crowley sold his soul to the devil. Do you
believe that?
Ozzy: [long pause] Yes. I feel like I've met him. I feel that I was a
servant of his once."
(Circus, Aug. 26, 1980, p. 26)
Is this the testimony of a man the President of the United States should be
honoring? Is this a man whose "family values" should be commended by
Dan Qualye? Is this a man that should be the darling of the media?
And don't think for one second that Ozzy's message is not getting through. Young
people follow Ozzy's every step. He is the hero and god to millions of
impressionable young people. Ozzy openly says young people greet him with,
"Satan Rules"! They clearly know, understand — and follow the
message of Ozzy!
". . . the kids are coming up and saying, 'Hey Ozzy, Satan Rules'"
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 87)
As for Ozzy's view of God, heaven and hell, or the afterlife:
"I don't believe in God as a physical thing sat somewhere on a cloud in
heaven. I reckon heaven and hell are what we make of life right here on earth.
I don't believe in the afterlife, I think when you die you're just simply
like a piece of %$#@ that needs flushing away",
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 136)
THE REAL OZZY. . .
Despite the amazing fame and fortune Ozzy has acquired – Ozzy Osbourne is
not a happy man. In fact, Ozzy is a tormented man with continual temptations of
suicide.
Watching Ozzy on The Osbournes cable show is a pitiful site. It is the
testimony of a person that has destroyed his mind and soul with drugs serving
the "Prince of Darkness". Ozzy mumbles, talks incoherently, screams
vulgarity and filth, shakes and literally looks like a man that has "sold
his soul".
Rolling Stone magazine describes Ozzy’s pathetic behavior:
"What typically come out first are not words but noises – crabbed,
unintelligible creakings, half-utterances and mashed syllables, saliva-specked
mutterings. These eventually subside, however, and he is free to
soliloquize on, say the antidepressant Zoloff, of which he takes 200
milligrams every day."
(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 114)
According to Rolling Stone Ozzy’s days are spent "fighting off
the demons. . .":
"These days most of Ozzy’s energies are spent fighting off the
demons of addiction. . . Without fail, he sees a therapist once a day,
twice if he can swing it, and attends AA meetings every afternoon."
(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 115)
Ozzy admittedly had been plagued with mental illness.
"Ozzy, who the year before [1974] had spent a week in an English mental
hospital. . ."
(Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 60)
Ozzy has been tempted by suicide for many years. According to Ozzy, at the
young age of fourteen he had already attempted suicide several times.
"Ozzy – who has said there was ‘a lot of insanity’ in his family, and
that he’d attempted suicide several times by the age of fourteen."
(Rolling Stone, July 2002, p. 65)
Ozzy "used to think about suicide ‘on a daily basis . . . but I
ain’t got the guts to do it, to be honest with you." (Rolling Stone,
July 6-10, 2000, p. 148)
Despite his incredible fame and fortune, Ozzy Osburne is not a happy man.
Despite the millions of young people that love and virtually worship Ozzy, there
is no real purpose, nor peace in the dark soul of Ozzy Osbourne.
I’m not particularly a happy person."
Ozzy Osbourne
(Hit Parader, Oct. 2000 p. 32)
"The thing is, I feel that most of my life has been worthless and
useless, and I’m now at the age where I’m beginning to feel that
way."
(Rolling Stone, July 6-10, 2000, p. 148)
THE TRUTH IS. . .
This article is about more than Ozzy Osbourne.
It’s about all of us. . .
Ozzy Osbourne is the testimony of a man who found that elusive dream that
most are searching and striving for. Ozzy got it. Ozzy acquired the fame. Young
people; the media; even the President of the United States honor Ozzy. Ozzy
acquired the fortune. Ozzy has sold over 70 million records and lives a life of
luxury with servants waiting on his every wish.
Yes, Ozzy has got it. . .
But that did not satisfy Ozzy Osbourne. The incredible "fame and
fortune" did not give Oz any real peace or joy. Ozzy Osbourne is an empty
man.
Yes, Ozzy has got it. . .
And yet, Ozzy has lost it. . .
In a recent song (2001) Ozzy pitifully sings in "Running Out of Time":
Been around this world so many times,
If you could only see my mind,
I watch my secret heaven turn to hell. . .
I haven't even got a soul to sell
Running Out of Time from Down to Earth by Ozzy Osbourne
According to Ozzy, peace, joy, happiness and real purpose are not there.
Ozzy sadly says, if he could change anything, it would be to have serenity and
peace he's been longing for since he was a kid:
"If I could change anything about myself, I'd give myself serenity
I've been looking for since I was a kid."
(Harry Shaw, Ozzy Talking, p. 126)
What about you?
Friend, fame and fortune can not satisfy that hunger in your soul. All the
riches of the world can not fill the hole in your soul.
The Word of God says in 1 Timothy 5:6 that person, like Ozzy and some of you,
that lives for pleasure is "dead" while they live. What a perfect
description of Ozzy and so many others — ". . .dead while they liveth.
. ."
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
1 Timothy 5:6
The lives of the rich and the famous, the ones that have found the "pot
of gold" are some of the most miserable, unhappy and tormented people in
the world.
- The popular singer, Mariah Carey was recently treated for severe
depression and anxiety.
- Whitney Houston has admitted to heavy drug usage, depression and
emptiness.
- Backstreet Boys, member A.J. McLean recently entered rehab for severe
depression and alcohol abuse.
- Melanie C of the Spice Girls recently cancelled her UK tour because she is
suffering from severe recurring depression.
- Guns and Roses recently canceled their tour because of the severe problems
of lead singer, Axle Rose.
On and on, the story is the same. . . Only the names change.
There is only one that satisfy and fill that hole in your soul . . .
ONLY ONE. . .
If there ever was anyone that could testify to the satisfaction that fame
and fortune could bring — it was Elvis Presley.
Elvis Presley had it all. . .
Fame. . .
Fortune. . .
Fulfillment. . .
Adoration . . .
Fans . . .
Talent . . .
But despite all Elvis had — he lacked — any real happiness or joy.
David Stanley, Elvis’s step-brother, in Life Magazine, June 1990,
describes the tragic last days in the life of Elvis Presley:
"Elvis’s day was night. By four a.m. he had been lucid for perhaps
eight hours. Now it was time for him to tune out. . . he would turn to the
aide on duty and say: ‘Gimme my first attack.’
The attendant would break out a small yellow envelope containing 11
different pills [barbiturates such as Amytal, Carbrital, Nembutal, or
Seconal, and also Placidyl, Quaaludes and Valium] and three shots of
Demerol. Elvis would hold out a cupped hand, and the attendant would fill
it with brightly colored tablets and capsules. He would swallow the pills
one by one with a glass of water. Next, he would stand up and remove his
pajama top, exposing his back, into which — on either side of the spine
beneath the shoulder blades — were thrust the little needles of the
plastic disposable syringes. . .
Mixing any of these drugs requires great caution. By taking them all at
once, Elvis was risking his life every day. He became a pharmaceutical
freak. Dr. Norman Weissman, the pathologist who compiled the toxicology
report after Elvis’s death, testified that he had never seen so many
drugs in one body. . .
In about four hours Elvis would begin to stir. Though he was so drugged
he couldn’t speak, his feeble efforts to get out of bed would indicate
that he wanted to go to the bathroom. With great difficulty the aide would
then hoist the boss’s 250-pound body onto his back, transport him in a
fireman’s carry, deposit him on the toilet, then carry him back to bed
again. . . Elvis would tug at his attendant’s shirt. This was the signal
for his second attack. Another yellow envelope (inscribed ‘second
attack’) would appear, but this time the job of administering all these
drugs was difficult. The aide had to insert the pills one by one into
Elvis’s mouth and gingerly manipulate the water glass, taking great care
not to choke him.
Elvis would quickly fall asleep again. At 10. A.m. he received his
third attack. This final load would sink him until mid-afternoon, when he
woke up groggy and disoriented. At this point he needed a different type
of drug. And aide would insert cotton swabs soaked in liquid cocaine into
his nostrils, and then Elvis would grab from his drug-strewn beside table
a handful of Dexedrines to jump-start his heart.
When asked what could possibly justify such a monstrous,
life-threatening routine, David Stanley answers by quoting Elvis himself: ‘I’d
rather be unconscious than miserable.’ (Life Magazine, June 1990,
p.101, as told by David Stanley, Elvis’s step-brother)
After gathering what most people only dream of, Elvis lived a horrible drug
induced stupor and in the end could only say, "I’d rather be
unconscious than miserable."
Despite the incredible fame and fortune Elvis accumulated he was one
miserable soul. . .
Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the
abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
Psalm 52:7
The "abundance of riches" can never satisfy.
There is only one that can satisfy that huge hole in your soul . . .
ONLY ONE. . .
Only the Lord Jesus Christ can fill that hole in your soul!
Only the Lord Jesus Christ can satisfy that emptiness in your soul!
People, for thousands of years, have tried to fill that huge empty hole
with drugs, fame, power, wealth, purpose, alcohol, sex, you name it – but
only Jesus can fill that hole.
Even the deluded, psychiatrist and occultist, Carl Jung recognized this
emptiness:
"About a third of my cases are suffering from no clinically definable
neurosis but from the senselessness and emptiness of their lives".
Dr. Rollo May, a well-known, New York psychiatrist, wrote:
"It may seem surprising when I say on the basis of my own clinical
experience that the chief problem of the middle decade of the 20th
century is emptiness. . ."
Rock music author, Danny Sugerman, acknowledged and documented this
emptiness:
"We run from one event to another, driven from devotion to devotion,
to one object to another and again on to another, because the meaning of
each quickly vanishes and the creative eros is transformed into
indifference or aversion. Everything is tried and nothing satisfies.
. .
Everything around us promises relief—but nothing works. . .
We are led to expect gratification and it never happens. We
are dying of a thirst and the buckets all have holes."
(Sugerman, Danny, Appetite for Destruction: The Days of Guns ‘N Roses,
p. 45)
Sugerman went on to narrow down the reason for this emptiness:
"From the time we can speak, we are bombarded with the message that
we alone are not enough: take this; buy this; have this; fell better,
stronger, safer, sexier, more desirable, more secure, more powerful, and none
of it works because we’re looking in the wrong place. . .
Drugs and music, seen in this context, are only the most available (and
temporarily effective) solutions to a rampant spiritual malnourishment."
(Sugerman, Danny, Appetite for Destruction: The Days of Guns ‘N Roses,
p. 46)
"A rampant spiritual malnourishment" – exactly right!
And that "rampant spiritual malnourishment" can only be
satisfied with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only Jesus can satisfy that emptiness. . .
No amount of wealth. . .
No great purpose . . .
No drug. . .
No high . . .
No pleasure . . .
No amount of fame and fortune . . .
Absolutely nothing but Jesus Christ can fill that empty hole in your
soul.
1 Timothy 5:6 gives the "result" of this "pleasure
seeking" generation:
But she that liveth in pleasure is DEAD while she liveth. 1 Timothy
5:6
Pleasure alone will not satisfy. . .
It will only leave you empty and – more dead than
alive.
Dead . . . Depressed . . . Discouraged . . . Destitute. . .
Disappointed . . . Discontent . . . Dissatisfied . . .
You can fill your life with all the pleasures, wealth, fame, and fortune
this world could possibly offer and you will not be satisfied!
Not in Fame —
Voltaire the famous infidel, wrote in despair:
"I wish I had never been
born"
Not in Pleasure —
Lord Byron lived a life of pleasure and grandeur, he wrote:
"The worm, the canker, and grief
are mine alone."
Not in Wealth —
Millionaire, Jay Gould, as he was dying cried:
"I suppose I am the most
miserable man on earth"
Not in Position and Fame —
Lord Beaconsfield wrote:
"Youth is a mistake; manhood a
struggle; old age a regret."
Not in Power —
Alexander the Great conquered the known world of his day, and still wasn't
satisfied.
Having conquered all, he wept in his tent and cried:
"There are no more worlds to
conquer".
As Proverbs 27:20 truthfully says:
". . . the eyes of man are NEVER SATISFIED."
The only one that can satisfy and bring real joy in your life is the Lord
Jesus Christ!
The famous evangelist Billy Sunday during many of his revival meetings
years ago, would offer a gold piece to anyone who could take his hand, look
him straight in the eye and honestly tell Brother Sunday, they were happy
and totally satisfied without the Lord Jesus Christ. In the many years
Brother Sunday made his offer, only one man came forward to take the gold
piece. As he took Brother Sunday’s hand, Billy asked him, "Do you
mean to tell me you’re totally satisfied without Jesus Christ?". At
that, the man, shook his head and replied, "Why, no one can honestly
take that gold piece under those conditions".
You could honestly be more able to jump over the moon, or drink the
Pacific Ocean than to be totally satisfied without the Lord Jesus Christ.
You can try to convince yourself that you are totally satisfied
without Jesus – but in your heart you know it’s a lie.
I know, I tried it for 20 long years, but I knew something was missing.
Something was missing and nothing — but nothing could fill that hole.
And I knew it . . .
But on July 30, 1975, I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal
Saviour – and I can testify as the songwriter wrote:
Hallelujah! I have found Him
Whom my soul so long has craved.
Jesus satisfies my longings;
Through His blood I now am saved.
And for over 25 years, I can say without the least hesitation, or
reservation – He has satisfied that missing element in my life. More than
I could ever dream! I’ve never regretted receiving Jesus Christ even a
second. I’ve never, ever, thought of having to look elsewhere for
something better.
Jesus Christ satisfies!
Jesus Christ said in John 10:10:
". . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly."
John 10:10
Oh, what a joy! A peace that passeth all understanding!
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Phil. 4:17
As I write this, I’m searching my vocabulary and my heart for the words
to convey the joy and satisfaction I’ve got in Jesus Christ – but
friend, I don’t have the words to describe what He did in my life!
Oh, how I wish I did! Oh, how I wish more than anything I did! Oh,
how I wish I could stand on top of the world and say, "Earth, this is
what you’re looking for. This is what is missing. Jesus Christ is the way,
the truth and the life… (John 14:6)
Jesus Christ gave me a joy, a peace, and real life! More than any drug,
alcohol, any experience, any wealth, any fortune or fame could possibly
satisfy.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful
works to the children of men!
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with
goodness.
Psalms 107:8-9
I can say with the apostle Peter – Jesus Christ gave me a "joy
unspeakable":
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet
believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1 Peter 1:8
In John 14:27, the Lord Jesus makes a wonderful statement:
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world
giveth, give I unto you. …" Let not your heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid.
That peace you’ve so longed for – that no amount of money – no
amount of pleasure – no amount of love – could provide – is found only
in the Lord Jesus!
I know what you're thinking, (the same thing I was thinking) "Aw'
c'mon. All this can't be true. It just too good to be true".
Well. It's true. IT'S ABSOLUTELY TRUE!
If you don’t believe it – try Jesus out. . .
The Lord makes this "try me" challenge in Psalm 34:8:
"O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that
trusteth in him"
Psalm 34:8
Would you like to have that "peace that passeth
understanding"?
Would you like to know "joy unspeakable"?
It is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you've never received Jesus Christ as your Savior, please bow your
head this minute and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you and give YOU that
"joy unspeakable".
