The
Corner
Dear Friends,
The apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians
chapter 14 that when you prophecy, it is to edify, exhort and comfort. I
have a message about faith which the Holy Spirit gave to me which I
believe will do just that. Faith is something that is tried by fire. Just
as gold is tried by fire, our faith is more precious than gold. We are
tried with terrible trials and the Holy Spirit wants to comfort us in a
faith-walk because we all have things that we desire to obtain like
healing, job, spouse, etc. We have things that we want and need but they
require faith.
Human beings are not patient by nature;
however, we need to be patient by focusing on the Lord and knowing that He
is good so that whatever happens to us is good. He is all-powerful and
will not let bad things happen to His children. The worst that can happen
is that we die and be ushered into the presence of the Lord. So whatever
is going to happen to us in this trial is good and the journey is
sometimes better than the promise obtained. If you want a healing and it
has taken a year or more, develop a habit of seeking the Lord, reading the
Scriptures, getting on your knees and entering into His presence with
worship. He is the only solution and these things are more precious that
what you have requested.
The Lord wants you to persevere in the
request for which you having faith, and if you’re having a hard time with
faith, try getting on your knees and worshiping Him. That is the way for
our body, soul and spirit to yield to the Lord and an important part of
faith. We can’t have faith without yielding to Almighty God. We know that
the Lord with reward the journey.
“But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men
to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”
(1 Corinthians 14:3)
