The Ten Commandments are the basic laws that the entire Moral Law code is built upon. Matthew 5:17-19

There is no saving power in the Moral Law. Romans 3:19-31; Ephesians 2:8-10

No airplane can fly if it was not designed according to the laws of mathematics, chemistry, electricity, aerodynamics, and mechanical laws. Neither can a nation prosper unless it has God’s Moral Law as a basis for its criminal, civil and business law. Proverbs 25:5; 29:2

God’s laws cannot be broken, instead the law breaker will be broken - Galatians 6:7-8

God’s laws are good -- the infrastructure of all relationships - 1 Timothy 1:1-20

YOU SHALL NOT STEAL Exodus 20:15

The definition of stealing is: Taking something from another person that does not belong to you.

1. Stealing is taking an object from a person or from a business.

2. Stealing is talking during work hours, when we have contracted to perform labor.

3. Stealing is using telephones, fax machines, copiers etc. on the job, when we have not received permission to do so. Only the owners of the work place can give that permission, not a supervisor, unless he has been given permission by the owner.

4. Stealing is taking a married person from his/her spouse.

5. Theft is taking place when a person gives a promise, and then does not keep it.

6. Theft is taking place when people take tools, equipment and material from a job site.

7. Theft is taking place when an employer does not pay his laborer - There is a double judgment from God on the person holding back wages! James 5:1-6

8. Stealing is padding expense accounts, adding charges of services or goods not used, etc.

9. When you keep a person occupied with idle talk, gossip etc. you are stealing his/her time.

10. When you borrow something from another person and you do not return it, you are a thief. If you break something that you borrowed, and you do not repair it or pay restitution, you are thief.

11. If you do not pay your bills you are a thief!

12. Theft takes place when a person cheats another person.

13. Gambling is theft. The gambler is hoping to receive something he has not earned.

14. Holding back sexual relationship in a marriage is theft, unless there is a call for prayer or there is sickness, injury. 1 Corinthians 7:1-5

15. Slandering another person is theft; you are stealing his reputation and good name.
