THE SPIRIT OF PROCRASTINATION

January 17,1999

This is a powerful demon which controls the alcoholic, the drug user and millions of Christians who are slaves to their sins. He is deceiving his slaves with the help of the following demons: INSANITY, STUPIDITY & DECEPTION. Romans 6:12-16

THE SIN OF ELI
Eli had been chosen by God to lead Israel. He had two sons who God called "sons of Belial." (Belial means wicked, worthless, of no value)  Eli did not correct his sons.
1 Samuel 2:12-17 -- As Eli was growing older, his sons became more wicked. Instead of dealing with his sons, Eli procrastinated and did nothing. verses 22-25
Then God sent a prophet to Eli, warning him. verses 27-36   
Eli took no action. Then God used Samuel to send a second warning! 1 Samuel 3:1-17
Verse 18 shows that by now the spirit of insanity was ruling Eli.

Because Eli refused to deal with his sins, the judgment of God fell, not only upon Eli and his family, but also on the whole nation. First it took the lives of 4000 men in the army of Israel - I Sam. 4:2; then came the loss of the Ark plus the death of 30,000 more men in the army, including the death of Eli's two sons- verses 10-11; followed by the death of Eli himself and his daughter in-law. Verses 12-22; Before she died she named her son "lchabod," the glory Is departed from Israel.

THE SIN OF ESAU
Esau despised the word of God. Genesis 25:29-34 He never recovered from this sin!
Hebrews 12:14-17

The definition of procrastination: NOT THINKING IT THROUGH!  Divorce will bring a curse for generations to come, abortion does not kill one baby, It kills all the future generations of that child. 
Having a child out of wedlock brings a ten generation curse (Deut. 23:2); incest brings a strong curse upon future generations, marrying an unbeliever brings horrible pain to the children – 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 7:1

The Devil has cooked a witch’s brew that is causing people to be DECEIVED, STUPEFIED AND INSANE. Proverbs 20:1; 23:29-35

When men refuse to deal with their sins, God will send strong demons of deception and lying.
I Kings 22:14-38; II Thessalonians 2:8-12; Revelation 16:13-14

Men will know the WRATH OF GOD - Revelation 6: 12-17  But taking no action! Revelation 9:20-21
CHRISTIANS COUNT THE COST OF PROCRASTINATION! Luke 14:28-35

CRY OUT TO GOD FOR MERCY AND THAT YOU SHALL BE ABLE TO HEAR, AND HAVING HEARD, BE ABLE TO TAKE ACTION! Matthew 13:10-23
