PREPARING FOR THE Y2K PROBLEM

The Bible tells us that before God allows things to happen on the earth, He will first reveal it to his prophets. Amos 3:1-8

It is not a pleasant matter to present truth to people who really do not want to hear from God, but want to run their own lives. Revelation 10:5-11

Each believer in Christ must learn to come to grips with changes which will come to each one of us during our life time on the earth. John 21:18-19

God's man Noah was told that change was coming. He was told to prepare, there was no option for him except what God told him. Genesis 6:13-22

Moses had to face three great changes in his life:
1. From being a prince to becoming a refugee- Exodus 2:9-15
2. From being a sheepherder to becoming a national leader - Exodus 3:1-14
3. Leaving his earthly life and moving on into eternity - Deuteronomy 34:1-8

The Bible is full of examples of men and women facing Changes and how they dealt with them.

As a prophet - Jeremiah 1:1-19
As a young man - Daniel 1:1-8
As a young women - Luke 1:26-38
As a man - II Kings 20:1-6

At times God requires physical preparations - Genesis 41:26-53
And how this preparation pays off in time of need - Genesis 41:54-57

But THERE MUST ALWAYS BE A SPIRITUAL PREPARATION! James 4:1-10

When we are spiritually prepared, there will be:
THE PEACE OF God! Psalm 23:1-6

SHELTERED BY GOD! Psalm 1:1-6

REST IN JESUS! Matthew 11:28-30
