REVELATION PROJECTS

March 21, 1999

A revelation project is an event that God has ordained and then revealed for man to do. The very first 
one recorded is found in Genesis 1:26-28

The second one is found in Chapter 2:15-17
When man does not obey a REVELATION GIVEN BY GOD, there are consequences! Genesis 3:8-24

A revelation project is born in God: Genesis 6:8-22
WHAT GOD ORDERS HE WILL PAY FOR!
WHAT MAN ORDERS HE WILL PAY FOR! Galatians 6:7-9

God ordered a tabernacle with an altar and furniture to be built Exodus 35:4-19
God made sure that he supplied what was needed for this project. Exodus 36:1-8

ANY PROJECT BORN IN THE FLESH OF MAN WILL LEAD TO DEATH!
The people started to worry and then they became impatient: Exodus 32:1
Aaron jumped on the project: verses 2-6
God was not pleased: v.7-14
Moses destroyed the work of God in anger. v. 16-19
Aaron turned to a lie when Moses confronted him. v.20-26
    3000 men died as a result of this project. v.26-28

DOES MAN LEARN FROM HIS PASSED MISTAKES?
King David knew the Word of God. The Devil was able to snare David.
1Chronicles 21:1-2
Joab tried to reason with the king, but to no avail: v.3-6
Now it was time for David to pay for his project! v.7-15
David had repented, but it still cost dearly - 70,000 men - 2 Samuel 24:15-19

JESUS GAVE US THE PERFECT EXAMPLE! John 6:28-40
Today we have two sources from which we can receive REVELATION KNOWLEDGE!
1. From the Holy Spirit - John 16:7-15
Remember, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL NEVER BREAK THE WRITTEN WORD OF G0D!
2. From the Bible, God's written Word! 2Peter l:14-21

The apostles knew this truth - Acts 13:1-4
And they walked in it - Acts 16:6-10

YOUR CHECK LIST:
Did God ask you to come? Did God tell you to leave? Did God tell you to buy the car? Have you been commissioned by God to do what you are doing now? Are you involved in any FLESH PROJECTS? (You can tell if you are going from one disaster to another) Are you willing to stop, take an inventory, repent of your flesh projects and start all over again? John 10:24-30
