UNITY IN JESUS CHRIST

March 28, 1999

God his been speaking to us with a series of messages, each one having a specific impact on our daily walk with Christ. STRESS - THE CHOICE WEAPON OF SATAN, THE SPIRIT RULING THE SOUL, THE SPIRITUAL LAW OF FORGIVENESS, THE SPIRIT OF PARALYSIS, IMPLEMENTING THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, SUSTAINING FAITH IN GOD, REVELATION PROJECTS.

Once a Christian is leaving the baby stage, it is time to start doing what Jesus wanted his disciples to do, and that was to work together as a body. Acts 1:4-8

One of the twelve apostles, Judas Iscariot, did not make it to the Day of Pentecost. He had a different agenda. Amos 3:3, Matthew 26:14-15,20-25

There will always be men and women In the Church of Jesus Christ, who will have a different agenda. We are told to not fellowship with them. Titus 1:10-11, 3:8 1John 2:15-19

Satan has a special weapon, which he is using very successfully to destroy the UNITY among the Christians. THE SPIRIT OF OFFENSE Matthew 20:1-18

Jesus gave us several steps that if we follow them, there will be UNITY!
Step One: Forsake all worldly ambitions - Matthew 19:16-30
Step Two: Deny and destroy all selfishness in yourself - Luke 9:23-26, 57-62
Step Three: Become a servant - Matthew 20:25-28 Mark 9:33-40; Luke 22:15-29
Step Four: We are to love - 1 John 4:1-21
Step Five: Never divide a husband from his wife - Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6

This does not mean that Jesus wanted us to take of the slothful people. Jesus has specifically spoken concerning slothful people. Matthew 25:26-30

In his teaching of the ten virgins, Jesus did not tell the prudent ones to share with the foolish ones. 
Matthew 25:1-13

The apostle Paul had a clear understanding in this matter. 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15

JESUS HAS CLEARLY OUTLINED HOW HE WANTS HIS CHURCH TO BE! John 13:1-18

Jesus called this A NEW COMMANDMENT! John 13:34-35

This unity among the believers can only be produced through the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4

When there is agreement, there is great power - Matthew 16:19-20

Are you a loose canon, or are you a team player, a living stone? 1 Peter 2:1-10
