SPIRITUAL CONTAMINATION

We have now studied about SUSTAINING FAITH, from here we moved to examine HOW WE ARE KNOWN IN THE SPIRIT WORLD, and then we discussed that there is NO POWER WITHOUT HOLINESS.

Once it has become known in the demonic world that a Christian has become an over- comer - Revelation 3:12-13 - the only damage left for Satan and his hordes of demons to do is to try to ENTICE the Christian and CONTAMINATE HIM SPIRITUALLY!

Abraham could not be taken out, but he could be slowed down and bring reproach to God. Twice Satan snared Abraham to lie!

First time: Genesis 12:9-20   Satan’s weapon of choice: FEAR
Second Time: Genesis 20:1-9

Isaac was snared by the same weapon, being the second generation of liars!
Genesis 26:1-11  Satan’s weapon of choice: FEAR

Moses could not be stopped, but he could be humiliated, and force God to punish him.

First time: Exodus 32:15-19  Satan’s weapon of choice: ANGER
Second time: Numbers 20:1-13; 1Corinthians 10:4
Consequence: Could not enter the promised land - Deuteronomy 4:21-24

King David could not be removed from his throne, but he was weakened and caused people to belittle God.
2 Samuel 11:1-5 Satan’s weapon of choice: LUST
Consequence - death of his child and the sword was never to depart from his house - 2 Samuel 12:7-15

Jeremiah was buffeted to the maximum by evil spirits, who tried to break him.
Jeremiah 20:7-18 Satan’s weapon of choice : DEPRESSION

REMEDY

1. Walk in the light of God at all times - 1 John 1:4-10 - and live in forgiveness!

2. Always speak the truth - Matthew 5:33-37

3. The truth shall set you free - John 8:31-32

4. Claim your new creation status - 2 Corinthians 5:16-21

5. Receive God’s PERFECT LOVE! 1 John 4:6-18

6. Remember, this is war, not a game! Ephesians 6:10-18
