DOES THE DEVIL HINDER REVIVALS?
PART TWO

The Bible describes the Devil as a roaring lion, walking around seeking whom he may devour (destroy). 1 Peter 5:8-9

Jesus refers to the Devil as the prince (arcon) of this world - John 12:31; 14:30

The prophet Daniel learned firsthand about the fierce spiritual battle, that is raging in the spirit world. In the first year of king Darius, Daniel began an intense period of prayer and fasting, to find out why the people of God were still held captive in Babylon.  Daniel 9:1-27

But two years went by and nothing happened. Daniel 10:1-21 It took God’s angels 21 days to break through the demonic resistance and reach Daniel on the earth.

The apostle Paul calls Satan for the prince of the air - Ephesians 2:1-3

The demonic world is controlling the masses of people on this earth. In the physical world it is easy to spot the manipulation of demons. 1 John 4:1-6; 2 Peter 2:12-19

1. Music - there seem to be cycles of five to ten years - it does not matter if a person lives in the Western world or under a dictatorship rule like China, all people of a particular age will have the same music taste, craving to have it satisfied.

2. Clothing - another world wide trend - also works in cycles

3. Hair styling - also works world wide and in cycles

4. Fads - from toys to games

5. Pharmakia - each generation has its own kind of drugs

THE SPIRIT WORKING IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE - Revelation 16:12-16

There is a famine in the land - Amos 8:11-13

When a person is saved through Christ, he is moved from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light - Ephesians 2:4-10; Colossians 1:9-14

Every Christian came out of the demonic kingdom - Titus 3:3-7

Jesus warned us how the last days would be like - the days of Noah; Matthew 24:32-39 and the days of Lot - Luke 17:24-30

Genesis 6:1-8 describes the days of Noah, evil on a scale man cannot not even dream about, and a mixing again of human and demons, bringing evil humanoids without souls to the earth.

The agenda of the Devil is laid out clearly in Revelation 12:7-17 and Revelation 13:1-18

Satan and his demons will transform themselves into angels of light - 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

There is a spiritual battle raging all around us - Ephesians 6:11-18

Our weapons are mighty spiritual weapons - 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil - 1 John 3:8

The name of Jesus will destroy and cut through the darkest evil of the Devil! Acts 8:5-17

The strong man must be bound - Matthew 12:25-29

Only when believers in Christ are willing to submit to God like King Hezekiah did, can we expect to see a great move of God!   2 Kings 18:1-8
