We have now studied about SUSTAINING FAITH, then we moved to examine HOW WE ARE KNOWN IN THE SPIRIT WORLD, and then we discussed that there is NO POWER WITHOUT HOLINESS.

Once it has become known in the demonic world that a Christian has become an over comer -- Revelation 3:12-13 --  the only damage left for Satan and his hordes of demons to do is to try to ENTICE the Christian and CONTAMINATE HIM SPIRITUALLY!

When the believer in Christ has learned to keep himself from being contaminated spiritually, he's taken another step up in the spirit world, moving in PREVAILING FAITH.
Ephesians 6:13

"Prevailing" according to Webster means "being superior in strength or influence; predominant."   Ephesians 6:10-18

Christopher Columbus had prevailing faith when he, despite the fierce opposition from his sailors that they were going to fall off the earth, kept on going until he found the land that he believed to be there.

Prevailing faith is built upon a deep anchored trust in God, that cannot be shaken, in spite of circumstances.  Look at the apostle Paul - Acts 27:9-44

At this time in his life, The apostle Paul could not be moved by any circumstance! Acts 28:1-10; Mark 16:16

Here is the solid foundation this kind of faith is built upon:

        1. The Word of God - Isaiah 55:6-13

        2. The Word of God cannot be broken - Matt.5:17-19

        3. The Word of God is good - Luke 11:1-13

        4. The Word of God is Jesus - John 1:1-14

        5. Jesus came to give us life and life abundant - John 10:1-14

        6. Know who you are - Romans 8:28-39

        7. Know that you have eternal life - John 10:26-30; 1 John 5:10-15

PREVAILING FAITH took the Gospel to heathen lands, built churches, hospitals, schools, orphanages, businesses, factories, printed Bibles and Christian literature and sent out missionaries around the world.

What are you building?  Are you an over comer? Revelation 3:7-13

                      Do you have an ear with which to hear ?
