A man’s body is a sophisticated vehicle, designed by God to last for a lifetime, which God has set to be 120 earth years. Genesis 6:3

Moses came to understand that because of man’s sin few would live out their full lives on this earth - Psalm 90:7-12

Moses also recognized that unless God makes us glad, it is all down hill - v.13-17

TO DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH IS TO BE IN HARMONY WITH GOD - Psalm 91:1-16

NOT BEING CONTENT IS THE ROOT OF ALL SINS! Isaiah 14:12-14

The following emotions are birthed in a soul that is not content, but very troubled!

8. REGRET! Hebrews 12:14-17

Esau was not willing to accept his loss, and move on in forgiveness!

Joseph, the son of Jacob was a victim.

We have a description of his childhood - Genesis 37:1-11

All his brothers came to hate him!

Because of their hatred for Joseph, he was sold as a slave - verses 12-28

Once he came to Egypt, he tried to live a good moral life and obey God, but he was treated very unfairly - Genesis 39: 1-20

Most likely the Devil must have whispered to Joseph, when he was in prison, "You were not very smart, you could have had some nice sex and enjoyed freedom today, but because you insisted on obeying God, here you are in prison."

We do not know how long Joseph was in prison, but his total life as a slave and prisoner was 13 years. Genesis 39:20-23

God used Joseph in the prison - Genesis 40:1-23 I am sure that the Devil whispered to Joseph in prison "You are forgotten of men and of your God." Genesis 41:1

Then the time of trials was over for Joseph - Genesis 41:1-46

What his brothers planned for evil, God turned around and used for his glory! Genesis 45:1-8

The most devastating words to be spoken are these: If I only would have done . . . ; I told you so, if you only would have listened to me . . .; If I would not have done this or that . . .!

YESTERDAY IS GONE; IT WILL NEVER COME BACK! NOTHING CAN BE CHANGED!

BUT THERE CAN BE A NEW BEGINNING! Isaiah 43:14-21; 2 Corinthians 5:16-21

The new beginning starts at the foot of the cross - Isaiah 1:10-20; 1 John 1:4-10

To have a new beginning, you must DECLARE YOURSELF BANKRUPT BEFORE GOD!

Romans 3:20-31

As long as you have REGRETS, there will be BITTERNESS, RESENTMENT AND ANGER!

Your sickness will not leave until you have released all of these! Forgive yourself, and all others who have hurt you and start your NEW LIFE TODAY! Matthew 6:6-15
