Let us now begin to look at FAITH!  Where does it come from?  Is it something that we can work up? The answer is no. It comes from God!  Romans 10:17.

Faith is the gift of God!  It is divine supernatural energy, that will surge like electricity through a human body! 
Hebrews 11:5

Unless God gives us this faith, we cannot come to him and please him! Hebrews 11:6.

JESUS IS THE SOURCE FOR FAITH!

1. The leper came to Jesus and worshipped him - Matthew 8:1-4.

2. The Centurion came to Jesus - Matthew 8:5-13.

3. The sick man was brought to Jesus - Matthew 9:1-8.

        THE KEY: Jesus gave them power to perform supernatural deeds:

        Matthew 10:1-14 -- Jesus told them how to do the work.

        This is repeated in Luke 9: 1-10 and in Luke 10:1-22.

4. The woman with the issue of blood came to Jesus - Matthew 9:18-22.

5. He could not raise the dead girl until those without faith had been removed.  Verses 23-26.

6. The blind men were seeking Jesus - Verses 27-31.

7. The dumb man was brought to Jesus - Verses 32-33.

The Jewish leaders rejected the Source, Jesus -- Verse 34, but Jesus had compassion on the people - Verses 35-38.

Jesus could not be controlled by the Jewish religious leadership and the more divine power he displayed, the more they hated him!  Matthew 12:1-15.

IF WE ARE SEEKING SPIRITUAL GIFTS, WE ARE GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED. There is only one person who can disperse spiritual gifts, and that is the HOLY SPIRIT! 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.

The Holy Spirit will only disperse these gifts as a believer in Christ seeks the Father in the Name of Jesus!
John 16:1-28.

God has given us a free will, even after we are saved through the new birth.

It is up to the believer in Christ to make a decision about walking in the light or in darkness! 1 John 1:4-10.
