The sin has been blotted out - Colossians 2:13-15, but the Devil is trying to make us smear ourselves with new sins! 1 Peter 5:6-8 We must learn to resist these attacks: Verse 9-11 Here are the most common tricks of the Devil: 1. GRIEF! Someone you love will say something that will HURT you, or someone you love is not able to meet all your EXPECTATIONS and it sends you into DEPRESSION, and in GRIEF AND DISGUST you walk away from your heavenly seat! 1 Samuel 21:10-15; 22:1-2 2. SEDUCTION! Every man, woman, boy and girl have a weakness. The Devil knows it well, and he will send a Jezebel spirit, to seduce and lead the person into sin. 2 Samuel 11:1-4 3. PAIN! LONELINESS, will cause a person to seek relief in sexual relationships, BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS will drive a person to seek relief from different kinds of drugs; REJECTION will cause ANGER to rise in a person. James 1:13-20 SELFISHNESS - Man is infested with this sin, also known as the "I disease." Isaiah 14:1-13 Each believer in Christ must make decisions on a daily basis, to walk in the light or not! 1 John 1:4-10 Each believer in Christ must DECLARE SPIRITUAL BANKRUPTCY and totally submit himself to Christ without reservations - Hebrews 12:1-2 This should be followed by presenting your body as a LIVING SACRIFICE! Romans 12:1 Then the RENEWING OF THE MIND - Verse 2 Once we have taken our seat again in heavenly places, THE FAITH OF GOD will begin to flow in us. The fertilizer for THE FAITH OF GOD to grow and grow is FORGIVENESS! Mark 11:22-26 Thus we can summarize man’s responsibility in one word -OBEDIENCE! All God is asking the believer in Christ is to be obedient. God will furnish all the power and authority without limits.
