We have learned that God is light and that there is no darkness in him at all.  I John 1:4-7

What is more difficult, to walk on water or to walk in the light? Matthew 14:22-33

THE STANDARD TEST OF TRUST

The first test was given to Adam and Eve, they failed! Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-7

Hebrews chapter 2:
The great salvation – verses 1-4
The new creation will not be given to the holy angels – verse 5
Jesus was made a little lower than the angels – verses 6-9
The captain of our salvation – verses 10-13
Destroying the Devil and his works – verses 14-15
Jesus did not die for the angels, but for men and he is able to help those who are tempted – verses 16-18

CAN WE TRUST OUR HEAVENLY FATHER?

In order to lay a solid foundation, let us do a study verse by verse in some chapters in the Letter to the Hebrews.

Hebrews chapter 3:
Consider the Apostle and High Priest – verses 1; 4:14
Moses was faithful – verse 2; Numbers 12:5-8
Jesus is greater than Moses – verses 3-5; Philippians 2:5-11
We are the temple of God – verse 6; Ephesians 2:13-22
Do not harden your hearts – verses 7-12; 12:15-17
Exhort one another – verses 13-14; I John 5:16
Those that do not believe cannot enter into God’s grace – verses 15-19; Romans 8:24-39

Here is the foundation – Jesus Christ – I Corinthians 3:11
What is it that God has given us? ETERNAL LIFE – John 10:24-30 

DO YOU REALLY HAVE AN EAR TO HEAR WITH?  Hebrews 11:1-6
