HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR DELIVERANCE
PART THIRTEEN
John S. Torell
August 15, 2004
We have learned that God is light and there is no darkness in him at all. I John 1:4-7
What is more difficult, to walk on water or to walk in the light? Matthew 14:22-33
The standard test for God if he can trust people – is to find out if they can walk in obedience. The first test was given to Adam and Eve. They failed. Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-7
The Devil has put a doubt in the mind of man, “CAN GOD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER BE TRUSTED?” Here is what the Bible tells us! Hebrews 6:13-20
WARNINGS LISTED IN THE BIBLE
When a person has been diagnosed with a terminal illness that cannot in any way, shape, or form be cured, that person will have a drastic change of priorities. All physical possessions have no longer any value to him, and the offer of fame, fortune, power and sexual fantasies have now lost all its power of attraction. The man who Jesus called a fool did not know that he had a fatal disease called “sin” and that his days were numbered. Luke 12:15-22
Satan and his fallen angels have been attacking humans for the last 7,000 years. No human being can stand up against Satan or one of his weakest demons in his own strength; neither is a man intelligent enough to outsmart an evil spirit. Ephesians 6:10-18
The Bible tells us to be warned. I Corinthians 10:5-14
This is what Solomon wrote in his early years:
- Hear the instruction. Proverbs 4:1-10
- Stay away from the strange woman. Proverbs 5:1-13
- Do not go after the strange woman. Proverbs 7:1-27
- Indulgence was the down fall for Solomon. Ecclesiastes.2:1-18
- Solomon did not take his own advice. Ecclesiastes 12:1; 13-14
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Flee all sexual temptations (I Corinthians 6:15-20) and resist the Devil (James 4:1-10).
