WHAT IS THE CORRECT CHRISTIAN
DOCTRINE?
In order to know and
discern false doctrine, every saved person must first know what correct doctrine
is as presented in the Bible. Let’s take a look at the very basic beliefs of
Christianity.
MAN IS CREATED
- Man was created in the
image of God. Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7
- Man was created sinless;
he did not fall from grace until he disobeyed God. Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-7;
Romans 5:12-21
- From the very beginning
God told man to be fruitful. Genesis 1:28-29; 2:15
- God’s consuming desire
is to reach lost men and women, and save them. John 3:16-18
- Jesus was constantly
concerned about people being lost in sin. It was the driving motivating power
in his life on this earth. Matthew 9:36-38; 18:12-14;
- Jesus wept over the
people living in Jerusalem. Luke 23:27-30
- Jesus agonized in the
garden of Gethsemane, if he failed this mission on the earth all men would
forever be doomed and cast into the Lake of Fire. Matthew 26:36-46
- Jesus made his disciples
fishers of men. Mark 1:15-20
- Jesus was constantly
concerned about the lost. Luke 10:1-4 (The word “scrip” means bag,
satchel, or suitcase.)
- Bearing fruit is
important to the Father and Jesus. John 15:1-14
As believers in Christ
we must understand that God has no desire to invest his power, glory and
finances into a group of people, UNLESS THEY ARE IN THE WILL OF GOD AND HAVING
THE SAME VISION AS THE FATHER! Revelation 3:14-23
