WHAT IS THE CORRECT CHRISTIAN
DOCTRINE?
In order to know and
discern false doctrine, every saved person must first know what correct doctrine
is as presented in the Bible. Let’s take a look at the very basic beliefs of
Christianity.
SALVATION
Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ. John 14:6; Acts 4:12
In order to understand
God’s salvation for man, it is necessary to understand the fate of every person
born on earth.
- The Bible clearly
teaches there is no reincarnation. A person is born only once on this earth;
at the end of life on earth, the body will die and decay into dust, while the
soul of a man will live on forever. Hebrews 9:27
- The soul of a man is the
real person, which resides in the body during life on earth. There are now
only two places for a soul to go after the death of the body, heaven or hell.
Luke 16:19-31
- While alive on this
earth, everyone must decide where they will go upon death. People don’t
understood that unless an active choice is made to choose heaven or hell, by
default, each person who dies without having made a choice shall be taken to
hell by God’s angels. Once a person has died, they cannot change their
decision made prior on the earth. John 3:3-21; Revelation 20:10-15
- Why is man by default
going to hell at the moment of death? The answer is that mankind is a fallen
race, contaminated from conception by a disease called “SIN.” It is inherited
by default and no one can set themselves free from it. This is the reason
Jesus came to earth, to pay for this sin, and make it possible for people to
become sin free. Romans 5:1-21
- How is salvation
obtained? By acknowledging that you as a human being are sinful and need to
repent of your sins. Believing and confessing that Jesus Christ is the Son of
God, that he lived a sinless life on this earth, through which he paid for
your sins on the cross, rising on the third day from the grave, and that he
paid for the penalty of sin with his own blood. Romans 3:23; 10:8-13; Acts
2:37-39; 3:19; Hebrews 9:11-26
- What kind of works must
you do to be saved? NONE! It’s a free gift. You will do good works because
you are saved, not to be saved. Ephesians 2:8-10
- Can you lose your
salvation? There is only one action that will make you lose your
salvation, and that is taking the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:16-18;
14:9-11). Only the last generation before the second coming of Christ
will have to face the Mark of the Beast. Up until this time, you may rest
secure in the arms of Jesus. John 10:27-30
