Is The Dove Pagan?
Wonder why you use the symbol of the
mother goddess Isis? Don't you know that the dove, said in modern
christianity to represent the holy spirit, is a symbol that the
Vatican sneaked in to christianity and has nothing to do with the
holy spirit.

That may be true but the fact remains that the dove is found in the Bible
to be representative of the Holy Spirit.
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him,
and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting
upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in
whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew
3:16-17)
“And it came to pass in those days, that
Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and
the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice
from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
(Mark 1:9-11)
“Now when all the people were baptized,
it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven
was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove
upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my
beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”
(Luke 3:21-22)
To us, the dove
represents the Holy Spirit, who is leading us into all truth:
“I have
yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that
shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me:
for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
(John 16:12-14)
