March 13, 2013
Dear Friends,
European-American Evangelistic Crusades (EAEC) is
on the move, literally! We didn’t plan it but God is merging our recording
facility with the production facility. If this is news to you, let me share some
of the recent events that have taken place within the ministry.
I resigned
as pastor of Resurrection Life of Jesus Church (RLJC) on February 17th
so that I could fully devote my time to the outreach ministry of EAEC. Bill
Chacon indicated that God was calling him back to the ministry and so the
members of RLJC called Bill to become their new pastor. But after having only
served for three weeks, he suddenly resigned on March 10th and that
has created an impossible situation for RLJC to continue to rent the church
facilities and also for EAEC where we make our video recordings.
We
recently stopped the live webcasts and now we are transmitting a pre-recorded
message every Sunday morning at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time. Up to now, all this
webcasting has taken place at our church location; once we remove the equipment
from the church facility, it will take a little while to set it back up again at
the production facility and I am currently recording a number of sermons that
will be posted to our website when that time comes. The last Sunday morning
webcast will take place on March 17th. If you have come to rely upon
EAEC for spiritual food, I want to assure you that we are not going away and
will continue to make a new message available on our website.
As these
events have unfolded, we now have a financial obligation to pay the rent owed
for the church facility. I could walk away from this debt but that would tarnish
the name of Christ and show that we have no integrity. The owner is an unsaved
man and I do not want to destroy our witness with him. In the meantime we are
busy at the production center doing
deliverances on people who have that need, sending out material ordered from
people going to our website, praying for people
over the phone and I am continuing to write on
Kabbalah book number seven. We are also
planning another newsletter shortly.
I want to
say thank you if you have given to this ministry in the month of March, and if
you have not already done so, would you prayerfully
consider helping EAEC at this critical time. It takes extra money to move
and your financial help is greatly appreciated.
I will keep
you informed on our progress as we hope to have our recording capacity restored
in a short time.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor John S. Torell
