America has
suffered a number of catastrophic events in the last five years stretching from
coast to coast and border to border. There have been hurricanes, tornadoes,
flooding, drought and fires, and as a minister of the Gospel, I see these events
as selective judgments from God upon a nation that has embraced sin and mocks
God.
This last
weekend I was moved by the Holy Spirit to note that the television stations
began warning people about severe weather front that stretched from Texas north
to Kansas. A local station in Sacramento informed its viewers that they had sent
one of their weather forecasters to Oklahoma to watch for possible disasters.
During my 37 years in the Sacramento area, I have never seen something like this
done and it seemed odd that a local station would send one of their reporters to
an area before a disaster had occurred.
When the first
reports came in that tornadoes had struck Texas and wiped out a number of small
towns, I began to feel that something bigger was going to come and then was a
large tornado on May 20th that went through the suburb of Moore, just
south of Oklahoma City.
I watched the
destruction of a large city and the associated death toll of adults and children
with sadness. I heard a pastor on television say that we were in this together
and that with faith and hard work we can come out of it. But there was something
noticeably missing, this minister never spoke about the need for repentance.
I was especially
grieved with Barack Obama’s special announcement to the nation on May 21st.
He stepped into the press room with Vice President Joe Biden and Janet
Napolitano (Secretary of Department of Homeland Security), who stood quietly
while Obama spoke like a child facing an adult crisis and having no solution. He
claims to be a Christian but he didn’t ask the American people to seek God and
repent of their sins; instead, he asked them to donate money to the Red Cross
and spoke about rebuilding the damaged area. I saw a man void of any spiritual
discernment and unable to give spiritual and moral leadership to the nation.
WHERE ARE THE CHRISTIAN LEADERS?
That night every
major television network covered the devastated area from Oklahoma. As I watched
the secular media comment on the event, I wondered what the Christian media had
to say. It was disappointing to see two different leaders focused on money
rather than repentance none of the Christian channels interrupted their
programming to address the dire need of our nation. Sadly, there is no real
Christian leadership in the United States today since David Wilkerson went to be
with the Lord.
WHO AM I?
I am just a
pastor/evangelist with an outreach on the Internet but this morning the Holy
Spirit moved upon me to speak out and give the American people a message from
God that other ministers are unwilling to do.
The prophets
Isaiah and Jeremiah were hated by the political leadership in Israel and
despised by the people because they were bearers of bad news. However, in
looking back some 2,500 years, we know these two prophets heard from God and the
kings and the people were wrong.
GOD IS A GOD OF JUDGMENT
The sins of the
American people have reached the limit of what God will tolerate. Judgment has
begun and the suffering in America is just beginning. The Bible tells us that
judgment begins at the house of God.
“For
the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it
first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of
God?” (1 Peter 4:17)
If you lay out
all the natural disasters in the last five years, most of them occurred in what
is called the “Bible Belt.” This is the part of America where the Christian
faith is supposed to be the strongest, where there is supposedly a church on
every corner.
Instead
of holding up the Gospel and preaching against sin, many pastors in the Bible
belt started to join the Freemasons in the early part of the 20th
century, and yes, there are mega-churches in the Bible belt, but not all of them
are led by the Holy Spirit. One of the worst offenders is Joel Osteen, who
preaches his own gospel to millions of people every week, raking in the money
and condemning people to hell by the busload.
Todd Bentley
abandoned his wife and children and married the woman with whom he committed
adultery. He is back on GOD TV and holding meetings in Lakeland, Florida as if
nothing ever happened.
Trinity
Broadcasting Network (TBN) has become a spiritual cesspool, featuring sinning
ministers, raking in money by the millions and offering cheap grace. The king in
this cesspool is Benny Hinn who continues to proclaim a false gospel and live
like a king.
Mega pastor Rick
Warren has become so rich that he does not take a salary, content to watch over
the destruction of Southern Baptist Churches and other churches who believed his
so-called Gospel of marketing.
There are also
thousands of pastors addicted to pornography and every week there is another
pastor caught molesting a child or having a mistress on the side.
With ministers
of this low caliber filling the pulpits of the churches in America, is it any
wonder the rank and file Christians are succumbing to the same sins and the
divorce rate is so high?
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST HAS FAILED
God is not
laying the blame on the unsaved people; rather, it is being laid at the feet of
the pastors and the believers in Christ. The sin in America is a repeat of the
sins of Israel thousands of years ago.
Hosea 4:1-14
(1) Hear the word of the
LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the
inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge
of God in the land.
(2) By swearing, and
lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out,
and blood toucheth blood.
(3) Therefore shall the
land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the
beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the
sea also shall be taken away.
(4) Yet let no man
strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the
priest.
(5) Therefore shalt thou
fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and
I will destroy thy mother.
(6) My people are
destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I
will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
(7) As they were
increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory
into shame.
(8) They eat up the sin
of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
(9) And there shall be,
like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward
them their doings.
(10) For they shall eat,
and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase:
because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
(11) Whoredom and wine
and new wine take away the heart.
(12) My people ask
counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit
of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from
under their God.
(13) They sacrifice upon
the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and
poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your
daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
(14) I will not punish
your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit
adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with
harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.
The political
and judicial leadership in America has removed God, the Bible and prayer from
public schools and legalized the murder of babies. They have removed all
restraints on homosexuality and are in the process of destroying the covenant of
marriage.
This ungodly
leadership has opened the doors for the entertainment industry to produce vile
programming and bring sexual intercourse to the television screen in every
American home. They have taught the children that they are nothing more than
evolved animals, provided sex education from the third grade along with making
condoms and the after morning abortion pill available to children. The young
people have become conditioned to fornication and drugs.
Medical doctors
are cruel when they perform abortions on defenseless little babies. Some are
torn into pieces by powerful suction devices and those who make it out alive are
stabbed in the skull with scissors and the contents are suctioned out. A Texas
abortionist is under indictment for having twisted off the heads of babies that
made it out alive. In every case, the bodies of these little human beings are
tossed in the trash and incinerated. How is this any different than the Nazi
death camps?
The stench of
America’s sin has reached the nostril of God. He is furious and has started to
judge this nation.
HAS GOD SPOKEN OF JUDGMENT IN THE PAST?
-
The Bible tells us that God will never change.
(Isaiah 46:9-11)
-
Jesus will never change. (Hebrew 13:8)
-
There was a time when the sins of Sodom and
Gomorrah had reached its limit and then it was time for judgment. (Genesis
18:20-21; 19:13-28)
-
God loved the people of Israel, but when they
refused to repent, He showed no mercy to them. (Jeremiah 15:1-7)
-
People are destroyed because of lack of
knowledge. (Hosea 4:1-14)
-
God is not sentimental; judgment follows after
sin. (Revelation 8:1-13)
-
God not only judges but also sends a famine of
His Word. (Amos 8:11-14)
IS THERE ANY HOPE?
The good news is
that there is still hope but it depends upon what God’s people will do. Here are
the conditions God has set forth:
1.
There must be repentance and a turning away
from sins. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15
2.
This repentance must be genuine. Jonah
3:1-10
3.
Repentance begins with one person. Are you
willing to search your heart, repent of all sin?
4.
Are you willing to pray for America? Do you
have the courage to tell people about Jesus and the judgments falling around us?
“Because thou sayest, I am
rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not
that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I
counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;
and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy
nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou
mayest see.
As many as I love, I
rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the
door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in
to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh
will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am
set down with my Father in his throne.
He that
hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
(Revelation 3:17-22)
HOMELESS
by Darl Dinger – May 12, 2013
Tens thousands of words
yet man cannot tell
of the love of God
nor the torture of hell.
Many books are written
pages untold
of the works of men
or the lures of gold.
Yet our God is patient
with a love untold
He awaits for that soul
be it young or be it old.
Wisdom cries in the street
very few take heed
hurrying on their way
thinking only of their need.
That person sitting on a curb
he sits there alone
perhaps he is thinking
of how to get home.
Yet Jesus is still calling
come to me one and all
I'll forgive your sins
before I close heaven’s door.
I know of your success
and all your failures too
only believe my Word
I'll make room for you.
This earth as you know it
will soon be gone
then many chosen people
will see their new home.
Don't believe all the lies
that you are being told
read the Scriptures yourself
the new and the old.
They speak of Me
and my soon return
listen to my Spirit
it is from Him you will learn.
My Word is pure
It tells you what to do
read it yourself
your life will become new.
I am the good Shepherd
I died for you
through your pain and sorrow
I'll see you through.
I am judging my church
soon I'll judge my flock
so many are scattered
but I ,Jesus Christ, am their rock.
I say one more time
repent of your sins
believe upon Me
and I'll bring you in.
Remember my Words
for they are Spirit life
I'll bring you home
and give you eternal life
no more wandering
nowhere to roam
for I'll have a home prepared
your eternal home.
