Golden Calf - Getting Rid of IdolatryUnless a person knows that he is involved in idolatry, he will never try to stop any activities of idolatry. American Christians who faithfully participate in Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Lent, Easter Egg Hunts and other activities around Easter claim these are harmless American traditions that mean nothing and are just fun for the children and adults.

In the Scandinavian countries the Christians do not have Halloween or St. Patrick's Day, but instead dress their children up around Easter In the same fashion as in America on Halloween. They explode their "Easter bombs," (small fire works like the ones used on July 4th in America). On April 30th, they light their bonfires to scare off the witches that are returning from "Blakulla," where they have previously flown to have sex with the Devil. On May first they dance around the May Pole, and in the month of June the girls pick "seven kinds of flowers, " which are put under the pillow so that the young girls can dream and see their future husbands, not to mention the dancing around the "Midsummer Pole."

Every nation and culture in the world has been able to retain traditions dating back to Idol worship in that nation before the Christian faith was preached. Voodoo is a damning left-over of African witchcraft and Roman Catholic traditions, plaguing the southern United States and nations like Haiti. American Indians are bringing back their "Medicine Doctors," including rituals like "Sweat ceremony, peyote, drumming etc."

Most Christians proclaim that they are not worshipping any demon gods, they are just participating in some old traditions that mean nothing spiritual to them. Is this a valid statement in harmony with the Bible? Absolutely not! Listen to what the apostle Paul states:

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? I Corinthians 10:18-22

In his letters to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul tells that the believer should not even mention in his speech any uncleanness, neither filthiness or foolish talking, nor jesting or anything that is unclean. The believer in Christ should not even have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:1-17)

What many Christians have not understood is that there is no difference between a person worshiping a demon god in ritual traditions, or a Christian only partaking in the ritual traditions, but not taking part of the worship!

The people who worshipped the Queen of Heaven, her son Tammuz and her dead husband, Nimrod (who became the Moon god after his physical death on the earth), used objects in their rituals. The evergreen tree was a decoration to was commemorate the "miracle birth" of Tammuz, and for some Tam 5000 years the followers of the Queen of Heaven (Semiramis) decorated their homes on December 25th each year to make sure that the memory of Tammuz would live on.

But when the Roman Emperor, Constantine (325 A.D.), was elected emperor of Rome and made the head of the newly formed State Christian Church, a decree was made that December 25 was no longer the birthday of Tammuz, it had now become the birthday of Jesus.

None of the ritual traditions changed; people kept setting up an evergreen tree, gifts were given to one another, alcohol was flowing, the wreath, the holly and all the other paraphernalia were kept; the only change was of the person whose birthday was celebrated. The celebration was changed from that of Tammuz to Jesus, but all the customs and traditions of Tammuz remained! Listen to what God told the Israelites as they were going to the promised land:

"When you have come into the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord your God does drive them out from before you. You shall be perfect with the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 18:9-13

For more than 5000 years "Mourning for Tammuz" was a religious period, when people fasted and wept for Tammuz who had been slain and was in the midst of the earth. By fasting and weeping, the people were told that he would be resurrected. God hated this religious tradition! (Ezekiel 8:9-18) The Roman Catholic Church removed the name of Tammuz, replaced it with Jesus, called it LENT and kept all the original traditions. In Islam it is retained and called Ramadan.

The priests of The Queen of Heaven religion taught that in the spring Tammuz was resurrected, and for more than 5000 years people celebrated his resurrection by worshipping the "Rabbit," and the rituals of coloring eggs and "Egg Hunting". The rabbit and the eggs symbolized the fertility of the Queen of Heaven and by participating in this worship women would be fruitful and conceive children, livestock would be fertile and the fields would yield a bountiful harvest. The Roman State Christian Church took out the name of Tammuz and replaced it with Jesus. Since the celebration of Tammuz was tied to the moon, the Jewish Passover and the celebration of Tammuz only occurred on the same week at certain years. Thus the Christian celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Is never on the same day every year, it flows with the moon according to the worship of Tammuz. Again the Roman State Christian Church did not remove any of the ritual traditions, they just changed the name from Tammuz to Jesus.

Today, some 1,671 years later, people do not know from where the traditions came. Since many Christians do not even read their Bibles, they have no idea who Nimrod, Tammuz, or the Queen of Heaven were. But faithfully, every year, all In the name of Jesus, they carry out the ritual traditions of an old Babylonian religion that was condemned by God. The average Christian pastor of today is proud to have these feast days in their churches and they try to out do one another with Christmas and Easter productions. They need to read what the apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth some 1900 years ago:

Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel (un-believer)? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. II Corinthians 6:14-18; 7:1

There is no difference between a pagan who worships his demon god or a Christian who does not believe in the pagan demon god but partakes in all of the traditions and rituals. There are no exceptions for passive participation. Worship is worship!

When a human being calls upon an idol (demon), it will invoke the wrath of God and attract hordes of demons, who will bring oppression, sickness and death.

AS A CHRISTIAN, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Exodus 20: 1-5

After reading this booklet on The Truth About Christmas you can no longer claim innocence. You now have knowledge about the pagan traditions, so you must now choose between being obedient to God or to be loyal to your family and church! God is going to hold you responsible, not just for your own action, but what you are doing with the knowledge that you have now received.

It is not enough for you to stop your "demon worship," you are also held responsible for warning other people. At this point, some of you might wish that you had never heard of this booklet or read it; your life has now forever changed. A decision must now be made. But this is what the Gospel is all about, presenting truth that will divide and cause conflict. Here is what Jesus said:

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shaft deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross and follows after me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 10:32-39

Now that you know what pagan worship is, what will you tell your family? Are you going to obey God, or are you going to stay the same in order to please your family and/or church?

GODS PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

God spoke through the prophet Hosea that the people of Israel were destroyed because they had rejected God's Word and refused to obey:

Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel: for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, no mercy, no knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood touches blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwells therein shall languish, with the beasts (animals) of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, yes the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for your people are as they that strive with the priest. Therefore shall you fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with you in the night, and I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge. I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me, seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. Hosea 4:1-6

This is a description of the nation of Israel at the time of Hosea, who lived on the earth between 767-690 B.C. As we look back on history, we know that God destroyed the Northern Kingdom of the ten tribes of Israel, and later the Southern Kingdom of Judah. All the prophets testify to the fact that God cannot tolerate idolatry, and if the people refuse to get out of idolatry, God will destroy their nation and their individual lives.

As we follow the Christian Church through history, we find that the Church we read about in the book of Acts eventually became polluted with idolatry, and the result was war and destruction in all the nations in which the Church was operating, and a miserable death for many of the individuals living there.

It was only in America that the Church of Jesus Christ was revived and idolatry was removed. Celebrating Christmas was a crime in the early years of the Colonies, and after the revivals in the 20th century. Christmas and pagan traditions hardly existed as late as the 1890's. But as the Roman Catholic Church began to grow in the United States, paganism began to creep into all the churches, resulting in the total apostasy that we have today! Most pastors and Christian leaders who have had formal training know this very well, but when I confront them, they become angry and accuse me of being "legalistic." Then they walk away thinking that they have silenced me, since it is not "politically correct" to believe In God's Word and most of all to obey it.

The Western Church in Europe and in North America has not only become involved in idolatry itself, but through its missionaries the last 100 years, it has exported idolatry to all other nations, so that the whole Church in the world today is polluted by idolatry. Thus the description that Hosea gave us is prevailing in all nations, and people are suffering immensely, while the "priests" (pastors, evangelists, teachers, prophets) continue in their sins and every year the celebration of pagan customs is becoming more extravagant and expensive, as television is used to seduce God's people.

IT TOOK ONLY ONE MAN TO START THE REFORMATION.

When it looked the darkest and there was no hope that the Church would ever come out of the darkness, God raised up a man by the name of Martin Luther, a German Catholic monk, who after his salvation experience stood up against the entire institution of the Roman Catholic Church and rolled it back.

Sad to say, some 500 years later the Roman Catholic Church has been able to roll back into the reformation Church and once again pollute it with idolatry.

Today a new reformation is needed, to cause this horrible idolatry to be uprooted once again and destroyed from the Church of Jesus Christ. Are you willing to be that man or woman who God can use at this time to cleanse His Church of this ugly cancer?

THE CHURCH NEEDS A HEZEKIAH REVIVAL

When it looked as dark as it could be, God raised up a king in Jerusalem, who walked with God. Here is what the Bible tells us about him:

"And he did that which was right in the sight of I the Lord, according to all that David his father did. He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brazen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan (The copper serpent of the desert) He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among aff the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. For he clave to the Lord, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses. And the Lord was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not. II Kings 18:3-7

Here is what king Hezekiah did:

  1. He destroyed every place where people had been worshipping demon gods, Including the items used In the rituals.

  2. The copper serpent that Moses had made while In the desert had been turned Into an idol by the priests, and this "precious memory piece" from the time of Moses (at this time some 500 years old), was destroyed by the king. Just like God, Hezekiah showed no sentimentality.

  3. Hezekiah refused to be subjected to the king of Assyria, who forced the people of Judah to worship Assyrian demon gods. He showed no fear; instead, he trusted in God.

  4. Hezekiah did a total house cleaning. Nothing of the old traditions were sacred to him; everything had to go. All idolatry was replaced with total obedience to God. The response from God was overwhelming; the king prospered in all things (spiritual, physical and materially) and so did the people in his kingdom.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO TO BE OBEDIENT TO GOD

  1. Make a decision that you no longer are going to participate in any demon god rituals and traditions. Ask God for forgiveness for what you have done in the past, renounce these practices and break all curses that have come into your life as a result of idolatry. Command these evil spirits to get out of your life and tell them that you shall never again serve them.

  2. Go through all your possessions and look for items used in pagan rituals. Destroy all items used in the observance of Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Lent, and Easter.

Do not be sentimental, regardless of the monetary value of these items, whether it is an oil painting or a very expensive ornament. Do not sell these items or give them away. Destroy them and make sure that no one else can pick them up from the trash and use them. As you destroy each item, command the demon attached to it to be taken to God's prison and break the curse that the object brought into your life. Included in this should be all crucifixes, pictures and statues of angels, music records, CDs, and videos promoting pagan rituals or recorded memories of them.

  3. Stop sending Christmas cards and Valentine cards. Destroy all cards that you might have received yourself. Tell all your family and friends that you no longer want any cards of this kind, neither are you going to send any. Purchase enough copies of this booklet to send to all the people that you normally receive cards from and to whom you have sent cards to. This will explain your decision to stand for Christ.

  4. Expect opposition from your family and friends. You will be called all kinds of names. You will be accused of having joined some kind of a cult, having lost your mind, etc. You will be told that if you really love your family and your friends, you would not do this terrible thing to them. It doesn't matter that you point out to them you are not hindering them from worshipping demons, you are just informing them that you will no longer participate, the demons of idolatry are furious at losing another worshipper and they will create all kinds of "hell" to bring you back.

Grandparents are going to rage and rail against you for not allowing your children to be polluted any more. But be of good cheer! Satan will never let go of any of his victims without a nasty fight. But Jesus, the Lion of Judah, is victorious and once you are out of idolatry, God can begin to bless you abundantly.

The toughest battle will be for husbands and wives, where only one spouse is being set free. It will cause a greater firestorm than if you came home and announced that you had committed adultery. But you must make a choice, Jesus, the Son of God, or your spouse and the Devil. Jesus said:

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24

  1. Break off all types of idolatry. You cannot cut back and then keep some of the less offensive practices. Make a clean break, inform everybody and stand by your decision. It will be hard at first, but in the long run it will be easier and give you a great blessing from God.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR CHURCH AND THE PASTOR

Before you leave the church where you are now attending, try to wake them up. Begin by giving the pastor this booklet and ask him to read it and then to talk to you about it. Your pastor will be unable to refute what is written in this booklet, he will find no Bible verses to support idolatry. Your pastor will either agree with you and stop being in idolatry himself, or he will attack you and run you out of the church.

If you cannot get the pastor to see the light, then present as many booklets as you can to the members in the church, and ask them to read and pray over this matter. If you are totally rejected, then leave the church and find another church where they honor the Bible and obey God. If you do not know of any church in your area where there is no idolatry, pray and ask God if he wants you to start one.

If you try to not get into idolatry yourself, but you want to hang around the church and say nothing, you are promoting their sins and helping them to pay for them by placing your tithe in that church. Here is what God has said to us in this matter:

Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will require at your hand. Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Ezekiel 3: 17 -19

If you are in a Roman Catholic Church, the local priest will reject you because he has been trained in the Catholic seminary that Church traditions are superior to the Bible. If you are in a liberal church, the pastor will reject you because he does not believe in the authority of the Bible and is basing his teachings on the traditions of his denomination. If you are in a fundamental church, a Pentecostal church or a Baptist church your treatment will depend upon how close your pastor is to the Word of God. If he is a humble servant of the Lord, he will investigate and pray and seek the Lord, but if he is proud and arrogant, he will reject you.

Some years ago I was a fundamental Pentecostal Baptist pastor who loved the Lord but was into idolatry, except for Halloween, St. Patrick's Day and Lent. When I was shown what you have now read in this booklet, my first reaction was, "If I don't read it, I am not responsible and don't have to do anything." But the Holy Spirit would not let me go; I could not get away from the conviction of God. I read the booklet first in anger, and then realized that I had grieved the Holy Spirit and sinned against God. At that time the booklet only consisted of the first chapter; the other two I have added. At once I started my own research in the Bible comparing the Hebrew and Greek text with the English translation, then dug into commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias and history books. The more I learned, the more I found out that the information given about idolatry in the first chapter of this book is correct, and I was shocked, embarrassed and grieved that I had not known this from the day I was saved, but that I had worshipped demons for all these years.

I cried to God and asked Him to forgive me, I broke all the curses that I had brought into my life and I commanded all the demons to get out of my life. Since my wife had come to the same conclusion, we were together in this matter. But we had a hard time with our immediate family, and for the first few years there was a lot of friction and grief. Eventually, when our families realized that we were not going to change, and that what we believed was Biblically correct, they turned around and rejected paganism and joined us in our worship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Then I had to address the church, and repent for having been a sinful pastor leading my flock into idolatry. It caused an uproar in the church. Some accepted it and rejoiced; others became very angry and stormed out of the church labeling me a cultist. But once the dust had settled, the peace of God came and filled our church. The church where I am currently the pastor, Resurrection Life of Jesus Church in Sacramento, is today a Full Gospel Church, free of Idolatry and only worshipping our heavenly Father.

It was a woman in our church who came to me very humbly and presented me with the truth about Christmas. She did not scold me; she asked me, in the love of God, if I would be so kind as to read the booklet and let her know what I thought. Little did that precious woman know that she was an instrument of God who was bringing me God's Truth, which would not only set me and my family free from bondage to demons, but the whole church and thousands of people who read this new edition of the booklet, and those who hear me on the radio and have watched us on TV.

THE TERRIBLE SIN OF REJECTING THE WORD OF GOD

The Bible tells us over and over again of men and women, who had heard the Word of God, but rejected it and were subjected to the judgment of God.

Esau was the first born to Isaac and Rebekah, but he despised his birth right and sold it to his brother, Jacob, for bread and a pottage of lentils (Genesis 25:27-34). In his rebellion against God he married two heathen women, Judith and Bashemath, Hittite women. Esau could not blame this on his youth; he was forty years old when he married these women who worshipped demon gods (Genesis 26:34-35). The Bible tells us that later Esau cried bitterly and tried to come back to God, but was rejected.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For we know that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Hebrews 12: 16-17

MOSES was saved through his faith in God and the coming Messiah, but due to his disobedience In front of all the people of Israel, when he struck the Rock Instead of speaking to it, Moses was denied entering the promised land In his physical body.

And the Lord spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying, Get you up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession: And die in the mount whither you go up, and be gathered unto your people; as Aaron your brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: your brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel. Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel. (Deuteronomy 32:48-52)

KING SAUL was hand picked by the Lord Himself to become the first king over Israel, and the anointing of God came upon him and he was a changed man. (I Samuel 9:15-27; 10:1-27)

But after Saul had been king for some years, he rebelled against the Word of God, and did his own thing, Instead of doing what he had been told by the prophet of God. The result was that the kingdom of Israel was taken away from him and his blood line would not occupy the throne of Jerusalem. As a matter of fact, the family of Saul (all his children and future generations to come) were killed, because of one man's sin.

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel. And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent. And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou. I Samuel 15:22-28

King Saul tried to repent, but God rejected his repentance. The kingdom of Israel was forever lost to Saul and his blood line, and a short time after this event had taken place, Saul died together with his favorite son, Jonathan, in a battle.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa. And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, Saul's sons. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers. Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him. So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together. I Samuel 31:1-6

BUT PASTOR JOHN, I AM LIVING UNDER GRACE!

This is the battle cry of the backslidden preachers and their followers. "We are living under grace; it does not matter how much we sin; God does not care; we are covered by the blood of Jesus."

This Is the biggest lie produced by the Devil and spoken by every demon on this earth, and repeated by every backslidden Christian!

There is no place in the New Testament that you are told this. Actually, you will not find this In the entire Bible. Yes, it is true that God has saved us by grace through Christ, but nowhere does it say that you can live like "hell", break God's commandments, and not be held accountable. On the contrary, the Word of God tells us that God will hold us accountable for our sins once we have been saved. Here is what Jesus said:

Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter Into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the; will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:20-21

But I say unto you, That every idle (careless) word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of Judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned. Matthew 12:36-37

If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15

Here is what the apostle Paul said:

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law. Romans 3:28-31

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, varience, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

The risen Jesus said this:

But the fearful, and unbelieving and the abominable, and murderers and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie. Revelation 22:15

Who are you going to believe? The Devil? The liberal preacher? The backslider? Or are you going to put your trust in God and His Word? Ask the liberal preacher: "Which one of God's commandment can I break and get away with it? Can you steal? Can you commit murder? Can you worship other gods and not upset God?"

The answer is obvious. You cannot violate any of God's commandments and expect to be without judgment from God!

A HORRIBLE REJECTION

After the fall of Jerusalem, a remnant of people were left with the prophet Jeremiah. Despite the fact that they had lived through a terrible siege, witnessed the taking of Jerusalem by the Babylonian army and the terrible blood bath that followed, they had learned nothing and refused to give up the idolatry that had caused the wrath of God to fall upon Judah to begin with. Look at what the people told God and his prophet:

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the word that you have spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto you. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. Jeremiah 44:15-17

The people had not understood that it was their idol worship that had brought the judgment of God upon them. Now they were defiant and told the prophet (and God) off, they were going to continue to worship the queen of heaven. God responded by telling them that the judgment would continue upon them until they had all been killed, and that God would only save a small remnant of them for his name's sake. And the judgment was fulfilled, and they were killed. (Jeremiah 44:20-30)

Everything that could be said about idolatry has now been said. There is nothing more to add. It Is up to you if you are going to join THE INFAMOUS people who defied God, rebelled and did their own thing and died in their sins, OR will you join the great band of people who loved God and gave theIr lives for the Lord. Men and women as described In the book of Hebrews, chapter 11, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Daniel etc.

Are you going to be another Esau, another Manasseh or another Jezebel? Or are you going to be a new Moses who will lead people to the promised land In your generation?

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

You can be blessed:

And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord your God to observe and to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that the Lord your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be In the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.

You can be cursed:

But it shall come to pass, if you wi/I not hearken unto the voice of the Lord your God, to observe and to do all his commandments and his statues which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you: Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. Deuteronomy 28:15-16

Don't believe the old lie from the Devil putting Christ back into Christmas. Jesus was never part of Christmas. From its inception, it was a holiday to honor the birthday of Tammuz. Let's stay out of this heathen worship that was sanctified by the Roman Catholic Church. When you do celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, do it without any pollution from paganism!
